  1. Sadly David Page (missing from the list) died at a very young age.
  2. Agree totally.
  3. Sorry to have missed you, I could have recommended some festival shows for you. I think you would have enjoyed the "Lady Boys of Bangkok" right up your alley. Personally I stick to the Book Festal myself, was chatting to Irvine Welsh about his new novel set in the N E of England, Wayne Spotting. Just need to get currency organised for my trip, whats the exchange rate at the moment, it was 500 bic pens to the Scotchenese pound (which is legal tender, ask Michael McIntyre) I've also got some shiny beads, used baco foil, and broken casio calculators. Ross (6.32 am ? all night effort eh!) Sorry about this swazi_matt, but you must have a whole lot of stereo typical thinly disguised banter you could add ?
  4. Are the 2012 ones not out yet ?
  5. Sorry to hi-jack this intro, but I'm venturing over the border in the next couple of weeks and need to get my inoculations up to date. Diphtheria, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A B C, Bulls41teitus A-Z. Anything else required ? Thanks Ross

I would take the spindle to an Ironmonger and ask them to match a nut to fit. Most of them will give you the nut (up here anyway)

Day time MOT does not require lights, but if fitted must work. Constant tone horn can be bought from a cycle shop. Try and find an MOT station that knows a bit about off road bikes.
  11. Your bike is wet sumping, there is a small bleed hole in the inner casing on the right hand side. Once the oil reaches the point it generally seems to come out the kick start shaft seal. I have found (on my B40)if its left on compression it takes longer to wet sump. There are two ball valves that may be passing, one at the pump itself, the other behind the big hex nut to the front of the engine below the exhaust. What oil are you using ? The springs on the ball valves are probably past there best, the balls/seats may be pitted. How much does it matter to you ? Just start it more often !

  18. Small screw from memory. Took off the second casing and put it in a vice (carefully) put shaft and quadrant in and adjusted. Locktited screws. If you have a new quadrant, these have variable quality. Have you got Rupert Ratio book ? ISBN 0-9535098-1-8
  19. Mule is only just big enough. IMO
