  1. Honda sells 40,000+ cars a month here in the states. I am sure most Euro countries could also see a surprising high number I would bet Honda profits more from Bou's fans purchasing Car and Other Motorcycle Products rather than Trial Bike Sales. Next time your at an Indoor WR, just count the number of Honda products out in the parking lot.
  2. Hi, I have a Keihin 24 MM from a TL 250. I want to richen the Needle or Needle Jet. The Needle Jet has no numbers at all and the Needle is a 273003. This Needle does not exist according the keihin Dist. here in the states. Can anyone tell me what Needle/Needle Jet is stock in their TL 250 and any options to go to a richer setting. Main Jet is already been eliminated as a possibility. Thanks
  3. When you spit on the head fins and it instantly sizzles away, its too hot
  4. Knowing Johnny, if he had been in a transfer position in his heat race, he probably would have delayed the proposal.
  5. Try a bigger pilot jet......goggle it........its an easy fix. PS...The plug looks great.
  6. Great Videos....I wonder if years from now if the current crop of WC Riders will be looked upon as Vintage Riders.
  7. EARTH TO JOHNNY.......COME IN JOHNNY....... The guy gets lost in town....how's he ever going to find Vegas though the desert?
  8. Thanks Martin.......how about the link to the recent French Vintage Trial.
  9. Your doing this alone? Where's the Plonker Crew when you need em. Its beginning to look like the "Adventure" side of that Crew is Pit Racing and SCTA Meetings.
  10. Every Harley Rider (or Ex Harley Rider) I ever knew had his old lady following him in an old Ford or Chevy Pickup. Some things never change.

  13. I have heard a few rumors that the FIM is eager for the US to host another WR. I sure hope the club or group who puts their foot in this Sinkhole is clear with the FIM, NATC and AMA as to the true costs of this venture. Let the above mentioned organizations guarantee a minimum predetermined profit for the people who really do the work.
  14. After attending the Ontario CA Endurocross, I am amazed by the popularity of this sport among young (and a few old)Trials Riders. A $100. entry, and about 1 hr of total riding time the whole day! Speed,Fame,Money,..... the reasons lost on me.

    TLR wiring

Sounds like you screwed it up enough.....time to hire a mechanic.
  16. Pretty sure it wasn't carburetor problems!!!
  17. Yamaha has been a Trial Bike manufacture since the mid 70's with maybe a brief gap between the TY 250 and the Monoshock (which was pretty much a surprise when it came out) Like Honda, the number of Trials Bikes produced by Yamaha don't seem to justify their existance from a $ standpoint. But for whatever reason, I think Yamaha is in it for the longhaul and this new bike of Kenichi's will find its way to production. Hopefully they won't be $10,000.
  18. Come on Cope, chime in here, isn't ca hors a place in Texas?
  19. How about putting Craig, Lane and Ringo all in the same large pair of overalls and have them debate just about anything.....now that would be a show!!!!!
  20. Sorry that I have no advice to offer, but I love your comparison!!!
  21. On the other hand, all the excuses in the world hardly makes up for 36 points. After all, Kenichi is a rider from a past era. And Fajardo aside, what about Gubian and Brown, they are hardly 2nd class riders, but still somewhat adrift of Kenichi...on an old Scorpa.........I doubt it.
  22. How about sizing Ringo up for a set of overalls......he probably wants to be on the next show (just don't let him ride a motorcycle).
  23. Great Show!!! Was that Noel in the background...he wasn't talking so I'am not sure.
  24. 28 Keihin never worked very well compared to the stock carb. on any of the 125 Shercos we owned. Even the 2 Paxau Models we had came with the Delorto.
  25. I am only aware of Pascal riding a Mono-shock Merlin. 1987 WR in Pennsylvania USA. Doesn't really look like him either. Great Poster though.
