Hi im thinkin bout buying a 08 scorpa 250f (4 stroke) has anyone get any info on them good or bad and if there has been any problems with them? Thanks.

been thinking about getting one of the seats that come as standard with the non racing models (not the long ride kit) as i want to do a couple of hare and hounds events. Then I had a thought, can you hollow out the underside of the seat to hold tools etc???? Think it would be quite handy for one lap/road events too, and possibly the SSDT if I get an entry. Hello everyone! I am totaly new in trial's and just to by my first bike! As here in Serbia there are no trial riders and bikes I deside to buy Scorpa mainly because it has Yamaha engine for wich I can find parts here! Visualy too it is for me one of the best, but it is question of taste! What bothers me that it is one off rearest I find on any list of trial competition, in any sites and ... Owners please explain me your reasons for geting Scorpa? The one I am expecting is '05 Sy250 in pretty condition! What are the experience? Any usual problems? Kind Regards P.S. Just wondering if scorpa are going to produce the 200f for '09 I have had a look on the frech scorpa site and there is no 200f on there, are they stopping production????? anybody out there in the know?

hey guys, noticed lots of you enjoying the baby scorpa thumpers!, I have a few Q's i'm hoping you folk can answer:- how do you all rate them? How do the engine sizes compare with regard to performance? (125f, 175f, 200f) Is the ty-s125f man enough for clubman/inter routes? thanks in advance for all your imput fellas.

Hey i have got two probmes with my scorpa 175 f (2005) the first is that it is lacking that last bit of power that i need to get up hills, but the funny thing is it had it when i first got it and done the birkett mods(except skiming the flywheel). i had the carb off yestarday becasue the bike wouldnt start properly from cold when i had it off i took the main jet(+ the one beside it) and the mixture out and cleaned them and also had the two wee jets on the carb out and cleaned. so now im stuck to why ive not go that power second problem is that the suspension is pretty slack(think it might be with me getting bigger xD) i was wondering how to go about tightening the fro…

Hi all, I have a problem with my Scorpa SY250R 2002: The radiator fan does not work when the engine gets hot. I tried, the fan itself does work when I connect it to a power source directly, but even when I connect the cables of the thermoswitch directly, the fan does not work. Has anyone had the same problem or any idea?

Hi all, I'm considering to buy a scorpa 200f four stroker (2009). I would like to order it with the proper paperwork to be able to drive it on the road (long ride-version), but my first choice is going to the racing version. My question is: what is the exact difference between the racing and the long ride version of the scorpa 200f. 1. seat + larger gas tank 2.front light and rear 3.... suspension settings? different handlebar? carb. settings? sidestand? How much work/cost would it be for me to transform it back to a 'racing' with the proper paperwork (from the long ride) to drive it on the road? Hi guys, Just got an 08 sy250, could someone tell me the correct amout of gear oil they need, also which oil seems to run well in this bike. I dont see a sight glass for the oil. any help or pointers on how to keep bike in top shape would be great. Im also looking for some paint for the black rims as there is some slight marks on mine. Im sure a small tin of black spray would do the job. Any one do this? if some which paint did you use. Tanks

This has probably been asked but can someone tell me the weight and quantity of oil for the Paioli forks on my '07, 175? Also, has anyone found the standard gearing a touch high? The sprockets are 57/14 The bike I have just aquired from "Graham" up in Chorley I'm told was a Birkett demonstrator and has a few scuffs to show for it but everything seems to work and run as it should. A new rear IRC and a run out in the Peak Classic trial at Youlgreave this weekend are planned. Not strictly in keeping with the intended air-cooled mono class way of thinking I know but we will see how it goes..

I am new to trials and bought a mint Scorpa Easy 280. Only fault is that the bike isn't ticking over on idle. Also when riding around in 2nd, the bike is juddering in lower end. I've been told to adjust the mixture screw??? Any tips or suggestions would be great and if anybody knows where i can get a copy of a manual of some sort? Cheers

While out on sunday the x-bloc tensioner that i put on my bike a month ago came apart. The rubber bit of the chain guide went round the sprocket and flung the chain off, NIGHTMARE as i was mid section and didnt need another 5. i managed to get the chain back on and finished the event. when i looked at the x-bloc later i was appalled at the construction, the rubber part is moulded around nothing more than 10mm of bent metal on the top and 4mm on the bottom with a couple of holes to help it bond. for an item that claims to be shaped to avoid rocks the construction is very poor. I took it back to where i got it and asked them to send it back , but i doubt if i will hear fro…

Hi guys, My brother has a sy 250 2005 model, lovely bike i have to say, but ive been given the chance to buy a 2008 model so can anyone tell me what changes have been made to the bike since 2005? I would like it if there was a little more power. i have a beta 250 2007 myself but really liked the scorpa ride but thought it lacked a little power. Any advise would be great.

After a closer look and some sleuthing found what was making the noise, dull boy here has managed to punch a hole in the clutch case. Whipped it off and it is now off to be repaired. Bit cheaper than a new one

I have decided to put a heavier tyz flywheel on my sy racing to help give me a little more grip over the winter, would you recomend retarding the ignition to go with the heavy flywheel or should i leave it advanced? have meny of you changed the flywheel weight and what are your opinions, i ride mostly slippy tight sections and find sometimes the bike gets away with its self. I currently run a 2.8 but i also have a 3.2 that i will be fitting on friday.. cheers GODZILLA..
