anyone point me in the direction of where I can download a workshop manual for a scorpa 250 98/99 rotax 250cc ??? I've got a problem with the front brake -- it dont work, so far I have these clues, master cylinder Half Full ( So i'll top it up) no visible leaks anywhere on the whole system, pads still have plenty on them, unscrewing bleed valve on caliper reveals fluid. pulling brake lever which looks ok with the bleed valve open produces nothing. Removed brake lever and caliper assembly and no signs of damage- any advice anybody ?? Cheers Ian

Ive replaced the o rings in the center section and after hours of trying i cant get the front pipe back into the center section with the new ones in!! ive cleaned the 2 reccesses out too but still wont go in!! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! oh and ive tried lubing it too! thanks

Hi I am thinking of buying a 250F, any pro's and con's that may help my decision. Will the fact that the company are in the French equivalent of chapter 11, have an effect on spares or second hand prices?

Old-ish one with the rotax engine. I think 1998 ish. It kicks up alright, but as it starts to warm up it will not tickover, or if you increase the slide-stop to the point where it will tick over, when you rev it it revs its nuts off and does not drop back to idle quickly at all. Seems lean, the idle mixture screw does not make much difference that I can figure.

I have an 06 sy250, the frame is worn where the prev owners boots have rubbed, what has anyone done to protect this, i cant seem to find any protection for the scorpa, also how much effort would it be to repaint the frame, thanks

I have a 2008 Scorpa sy250 and would like to hear from anyone that has changed their rear sprocket for a larger one and how did they find the results.At present I have changed it from 38t to 36t (my friend is running this size and loves it) but I would prefer to try and lower the gearing so 2nd is more useable and then I can use 1st for for those tight turns.My front sprocket is standard size 10t, I have been told a 42t sprocket would work, any ideas?

Has anyone tried a 290cc big bore kit ? What are the pros and cons ? Is rejetting a must ? How would you make the airbox bigger? Does it help low speed chuggin' ? Would a 13/1 compression piston work?

I have just put an irc rear on my sy. some time ago i was told that its best to run irc's at a slightly higher pressure than the x11 i usualy use. I am 13 stone and run a new mich at 2.5 and a worn one at around 3.5 also would you advise scrubbing in the irc? i find the mich performs better after a day or so's use Thanks guys any feedback welcome.

Just got a 10 year old one for my stepson, I have downloaded what manuals I can, but they all seem to be of the 4 stroke variety- any clues and whats the recommended fuel/2stroke oil mix ? Cheers

i have just bought an 06 sy250, does anyone reccomend any oil to reduce clutch drag, its very viscious until the clutch is warm, im also bleeding the clutch too as there isnt enough fluid in the cylinder, what fluid is used on these? thanks

Hi Guys, My sons (06) tys175 is having problems, if the throttle is blipped from tickover the engine dies if you bring on the throttle on gently she picks up OK! I've checked all the usual causes, the mixture screw is 3 turns out and the jets are the right way around at the back of the carby any other ideas? My next plan of action is too check on the valves, does anyone know the correct settings for these? This being my third baby scorpa I am quite happy with dealing with most of the bikes problems (not that there has been any) but this one has me stumped!! Thanks
