I somehow lost the ball that goes in between the two clutch push rods. Does anyone know what the diameter of the ball is? I am hoping to find the right sized ball bearing at a hardware store. thanks.

Whacked a rock right on the kick start shaft, then the nasty whirring noise started. Bike started and ran but making hideous noise. It was exiting the last section so just rode it back 500 metres to the van. Any ideas?

can any of you guys tell me how to remove the oil seals from a set of paioli forks. the last set of oil seals i changed was off a bultaco which simply pulled apart after removing the bottom bolt.iv looked for some kind of retaining ring but iether im blind or there isnt one.iv been told not to simply yank away the leg from the slider in case i damage the bushings so how do i seperate them?

Hi, I've been looking at the new Scorpa T-ride and quite fancy one. Has anyone seen one in the flesh or had a go on one? I like the idea of one to go green laning on. Can they be made road legal? If you wanted to could you do a trial on one or would the forks make the turning circle to big? Any info would be good. Kevin

Slightly different question, the small Scorpas have caught my eye and would like some input from those of you in the know. I'm thinking of moving into the modern ranks with a used bike a few years old, all the new ones are too expensive. Already have a '85 TY, I am also on the small side only about 140-145 pounds, currently riding the three line of four hoping to go to the two. What are the pros and cons (good/bad) of the small aircooled Scorpas (125,175,200)? How would you contrast them with the SY250? Same questions as above, what can you tell me about the SY250? The lack of suspension linkage appeals to me, should it? How does everyone feel about Scorpa suspension?…

Does anyone know what quantity of fork oil is needed in the 125 4t. it's the Tys with cable clutch. Is there anything special about the seals or are they just off the shelf seals from a seal supplier. It is an 04 model. Thanks in advance....

I have just recently gotten into trials. I picked up a 2002 scorpa sy 250. I'm having a difficult time getting used to the hydraulic clutch. I find it reacts extreemly fast with little to no feel. I've bled it (pain onto itself) but it still seems to be a light switch. I also find that the clutch is extreemly grabby when the bike is first started. I have to get hard on the brakes when I first put it into gear. My next step is to pull the clutch apart and inspect the basket but I wanted to see if anyone had some suggestions. Thanks all.

Just wondering if anyone knows much about sorting the sy250.Just bought the bike and love it but i am used to a 315cota and having a bit trouble adjusting to the extreemly soft power delivery.I would love to get the motor somewere between the two.I know to adjust the ignition timing but do i advance or retard it? to get a bit more get up and go.I have access to machining and would like to lighten the flywheel to obtain more responce.I read somewere to take it down to 2800gms.Does anyone know where to machine from ie outer face or external diameter?Any help will be greatly appreciated. While im on,the bottom end is somewhat noisy and while several owners i have spoken to sa…

Hi All One of these is for sale in my area. I ride old trials bikes (TY175 & TLM200) and don't know much about these modern bikes. The price seems reasonable. Are they any good (compared to other bikes of same vintage)? Any known problems? Reliability issues? It could be the start of my modern trials career? Thanks in advance for any info or comment.

I have been wondering for a while what the difference between fast and slow throttles is. i have only ever used the fast (white tube) ones, and i was thinking of trying a slow one just to see how it feels. any advice would be good as i would hate to buy one put some grips on and find it is useless. my bike is a syr with a jap spec flywheel and advanced timeing. cheers..
