Hi, have a 1995 works with a 290 rotax engine. Can anyone tell me where the drain plug is for the gear/clutch oil. Can see fill hole on cluth side but thats it. Steve

Hi, the clutch on my 290 works with rotax engine is dragging on start up then it frees itself but it is becoming more notacible during the days ride. Have been told changing the oil in the clutch may help. Q. how do you do it as i dont know much about bikes and what oil should be used? Also how do you change the gear box oil and again what sort of oil is best. Any pics showing what to do would be great or is there a manual or book which is good at helping out. hi there, one of my friends has just bought a 07 sy250f longride,on a recent trial he stalled the bike twice and had a great deal of trouble re-starting the bike, until he turned the fuel off kicked it over a few times then turned fuel back on then kicked it until it started. is this normal for a 4stroke or is the something wrong with the carb set up. many thnx. ian.

Hi, my name is Steve and after a 20 year gap have just bought a scorpa 290 1994/5. The bike runs very well but cosmetically it is need of new plastics, can anyone tell me where to go. Also anything else about the bike which would be useful. Thanks

finally got my bike 06 scorpa sy 250 at last, it was a toss up between 4rt and sy ,ive had a 05 4rt , 01 scorpa ,04 200 beta ,beta was great to ride and mantain but i just dont like the look of them , to help me decide i bought 06 ssdt trial ,after watching it a few times i think scorpa ,4rt looked the most sorted in sections ,i know different abilitys come in to it ,overall i thought both bikes held there line best ,so started looking, not many 4rt about

anyone know where you can get these cheap or cheapest for sy250 2 stroke?

does anyone know where i can buy some normal size clamps so i can fit some renthalls ,the ones with a brace bar,i have seen a few scorpas with the standard renthals,so someone must sell the clamps?

Front wheel bearings are shot at on my 06 Scorpa . Does anybody know what size bearing it is please as I think it is a 6904?

Looking for some other methods to try. I can not get any pressure at the lever on my 06 SY250. The pistons are moving freely. I've checked all the rubber seals including the small between both halfs of the caliper.There are no fluid leaks anywhere. I have back bleed the system using a siringe. I have remved the lever and used a screwdriver to push the mastercylinder piston as recommended by Nigel Birlett. Help please as I'm struggling on what to try next

I'm thinking of buying a an SY, can anyone give me the '+' and '-'s of owning,riding and maintaining one, power delivery, handling, grip etc I have had Gassers(7no) and a mont in the past.

i have a scorpa easy 96 250 and i think the clutch needs changin as the bitein point is a long way off and it seems to be spinnin the clutch in 3rd gear. is it a majour job changin it or is there a simple method of doin this? any ideas??? many thanks sam.

Does anyone know if there are full length fork guards (the type that extend up and protect the outside of the stanchions from crash damage) that are mold fit specific to these Paoli forks? I have seen a one size fits all brand, but I am hoping for some that fit right. Thanks for your help.

Ive just bought my first trials bike (im a motocross/enduro ride normally) its a 2003 scorpa sy 250 and im going through it all periodically, so far i have done: cleaned the air box/filter changed the gearbox oil clean the throttle housing removed some of the sized bolts from the inserts in the air box im going to be stripping the carb to clean it and change the spark plug. anything else i should do? a few problems im having that i cant sort are, seized spoke nipples, how could i loosten them or should i get the wheel rebuilt? the sump plug is seized in/v. tight and the nut is rounded off, ive drained the oil from the side bolt below the gear shifter ( and held t…

hello, iv just perchased a scorpa bike from my friend and i need to no what year and model it is. it has a black and yellow tank, yellow front mud gaurd, and the forks are purple and silver. can anyone help please???
