I was trying to work out if the Scorpa T Ride, the SY250F and the WR250's all have the same engine. They certainly look the same. I assume there will be internal differences between the Enduro bike and the trials bike. Does anyone have any idea what differences there are?

Hi ! I am thinking of buying a new Sy175. I ride an old Scorpa Easy 290 which I ride off-road (up virgin mountains etc.) and I have a few concerns: -Are there ever heating problems with the air cooled engine? -Does it have enough power to go up steep and long uphills ? -I am used to attacking all obstacles in third gear with low revs, with this bike do you need to be constantly in first gear and rev the bike ? -Is it more difficult to attack ledges with a short run before the obstacle compared to a large two-stroke trial bike ? -Is this bike a good choice for extreme off-road riding (no trails) in hot climate (Israel) ? Thanks, Efi

Hello everybody, went to my local trial today all geared up for a good day & the bike let me down. Got the bike out of the van started second kick as usual, knocked her off to put my gear on,went back to start her but she took some starting so put the choke on & again second kick fired up knocked the choke straight off & rode about ten yards, & then she would not rev up properly & started to backfire. took plug out checked for spark, yes had a spark which i thought was weak but my mate said it was ok.Took carb off cleaned it out no water or dirt in there put it all back together & still the same running like a bag of sh-te & backfiring.Bought new…

I have just bought a LongRide tank and seat unit for my Scorpa sy And all i can say is WOW... i rode the Cleveland Trial on sunday and it was great to be able to sit between sections...without getting cramp after having your legs doubled up trying to sit, the road work was a breeze And i even think it looks good, certainally different. It doesnt alter how the bike performs at all. Scrumpy

Just wondering if anyones used it on Scorpa plastic? It looks like Patriot Blue would be a close match. I bought another front fender for my bike so I figured I'd experiment on the battered old one.......the painted fenders are $50.00 apiece so it would seem worth it to be able to salvage it for the cost of a spray can. Fusion is made to spray directly on plastic I believe.

Can you repaint the plastic on the SY's? My front fender looking a bit dodgy. The color looks similar to Yamaha blue. It also looks like the are painted at the factory instead of color all the way through. Also, are the original decals available.....
