is there anyone out there that can id my frame number for my Dot

Hi, I'm rebuilding my Cub engine and notice that the Cam Followers have 2 small blind holes in each Follower presumably for lubrication. Do these face the back or the front of the engine, or doesn't it matter? My Haynes Manual doesn't mention rotation. I'm currently thinking towards the back to trap oil in them. I'm also fitting a blind outer Camshaft Bush. I presume I can now take the blanking screw out of the end of my side points Camshaft. The timed breather will also be redundant and I will drill a small hole from the oil return chamber into the blind bush to lube the camshaft. Any advice appreciated. Bruce.

Hi Can anyone recommend someone to widen a rear bantam hub by 35mm? Really struggling to find someone who is comfortable doing it. I am in the south east but do travel north regularly thanks

I continue to be plagued by oil leaks on both my Armac Cub and my old 'bitza' Cub. Most of the oil seems to leak around the rocker covers and push rod tube. Both bikes have had various mods done to the breather system. My Armac Cub has a 230cc conversion and modern piston but I now thinking about fitting that to my old Cub and fitting a Max Heys 250cc barrel conversion to the Armac which I believe uses a modified oil return. I'm aware this mod returns the oil from the rocker area down the barrel studs rather than down the 2 small holes in the top of the barrel. I'm wondering if will help with my problem as I think this area is flooding with my current set up.…

HI, I am considering making an alloy oil tank for my C15. It is in a B40 frame (I think) and currently has a bodged together "standard" steel oil tank. I would like to make a narrower tank with space for a re-routed air filter and neater and enclosed electrics. I have searched the forum and found lots of snippets of good advice but wondered if anyone could help me with some "first principles"? What should the minimum advisable capacity be? What is the best return route (can it enter high up or does it have to be a tube running up inside like the standard one?) What diameter tubes should be used at the return junction to cause the right amount of oil to spli…

Hello all again I'm after some advice. My B40 is running 13t gearbox sprocket and 60t rear but I feel I need a but more speed on the hills. What combination are people running for trials? Many thanks

Sorry if it's a bit basic or has been asked before but........ is there a set of rules that pre 65 bikes have to follow or do different clubs have their own? I couldn't find anything on the ACU site, in fact couldn't find much apart from the Yorkshire Classic Trials site (good site). Anybody help? Thanks.

Hello - I've just Reg'd with the site and I dare say the details of my bike are visible somewhere?. Can any one suggest an active trials club suitable for 4 stroke rigid frame competition. I'm in the SE 10mls SE of Gatwick airport, so far the only lead I've had is Bognor Regis & District MCC which I need to investigate further. Any other suggestions?, thanks in advance.

I've just done a deal on an HT5 that has not been used for 10 years,so will need a bit of sorting out.Its basically all good with mostly the right bits,but the carb is a Monobloc. I've had bikes with these before and had no problems,but it seems they are no longer in favour,most seem to have either a Mk1 Concentric or a villiers carb. I want to get this bike to run really well,so is the original worth playing with or is it better to change it ? Which is best ?

hi all been riding on my c15, i love it! dont know why i am building a bantam?? lol any way i have a set off old betor shocks on the with with the valves on, but one is leaking bad so they just bottom out, and am a big lad, so is there any other shocks that are good and cheapish,????? other than the betor ones,
