Congratulations to Micheal Phillipson and his team. The only private entry in the world championship sections and he completed the trial on a very respectable 122. Micheal has a full time job to hold down which restricts his European forays and to pull a ride off at that level i think is a brilliant effort.

Now that Fajardo is confirmed on Vertigo next year does this mean a strong 3 pronged WTC assault from Vertigo with - Fajardo, Dabill, Moret?? Or, now that Gas Gas been resurrected - I assume with no major WTC rider other than Michael Brown (if doing WTC) - is there a chance Dabill could lead the 'new' Gas Gas team in WTC??

Brilliant as Spain etc were to watch Luxembourg definately added to the flavour of the event. Watching them practise was real heart in the mouth stuff. Crashing was of the highest order! Also good to see the Irish boys taking on complex carbohydrates in the form of fish and chips whilst waiting to ride the Port Jack section. Well done IOM lot - a well organised event.

Another TrialGP rider dropping from TrialGP down to Trial2 Alex Ferrer looking to do full Trial2 for 2019 non Sherco. What do people think on this? Does it hinder young trials riders from going to TrialGP or does it just make Trial2 more competitive?? from my thinking I wouldn’t say it stops riders rising to TrialGP, you don’t have to win Trial2 to make the step up. It certainly makes Trial2 more competitive at the top.

Okay, here's the question of the week. You're flying across the pond with the first destination being Ettelbruck, Luxembourg. From there you'll be heading to Bangor, Northern Ireland. After spending a few days there, you'll jaunt back to the states. How would you do it?

Is it now or never for Doug this year. 8 titles would be sooooooooooo good then no one could ever say he wasn't the best of all time even if we know he is already. I really think if the bike is better he has at least one more chance, and wouldn't it be the best of all to come back and beat the others when the competition is at its greatest. He wasn't that far away last year and if it hadn't been for the accident in France (bike?) things would have been closr. With another winter of test and development a contract with a big win bonus whats to stop him. Go Dougie!

As four out of the five main trials bike manufacturers now produce a four stroke , is it time the FIM introduce a timetable for the complete changeover to four strokes at world level ???

Just wondering what with the montesa 300 dominating in Trial2 this year against the 250 2t's... then will Beta be looking at putting someone competitive on their 300 4t for some great exposure potential. I would think that if needed, a little tuning with the carb and engine compression on the Evo factory model could make it competitive at T2 and/or national championship level.

Octagon Esedos pulling out of the outdoor championship and just running the indoor. I wondered how long it would take to see it isn't going to fly, but what would I know, will this mean regular clubs with good trials terrain like Hawkstone, will be hosting WR again, and we will see the trial being the most important factor and not the powder room. To tell the truth I'm not sorry to see em go.

Hello, Just wondering what people thought about Nord Vue. is it the 1st time world trials has been held there? I have never been there but I am going up to watch this weekend. I have been to hawkstone before, how does nord vue compare and what type of sections are we likely too see. I have some people from work coming with me who have never seen trials before and asking what type of terrain it is. They are a little scepticle with it being a slow motorsport but im sure they will be amazed with what they see

I catch up on X-trial on youtube usually months after the events air. I signed up for Club Jitsie thinking it had access to live events but it appears that it does not. Where are you all getting your feeds from in North America (I'm in Canada specifically)? I'd like to be able to watch as close to live as possible (live being difficult if events take place during the middle of our nighttimes!). X-Trial, Trial International, and others? Thanks!

Just had a email from my federation of the new trial rules 2013 assessment. Take a look it must be on the FIM website. Rose coloured specs. The assessment was done by someone with one eye that is full of non stop. The way I read it all is the problems they have had is caused by section setters, riders, or observers. Well that's true, that's all you can blame theres no one else. A couple of things that made me smile Riders need technical and strategic adaption Observers to adapt their way of seeing in order to judge not moving forwards in the same way as they had been used to judging moving backwards for many years. You would at least think the FIM assessment be more …
