My garage was broken in last weekend they came for my car but thanks god some neighbours heard the noise and they went away. Problem is they did see the three bikes too i,m pretty sure they will come back for them. For now i parked them in my mothers garden but they need to go back sometime. the inner o ring groove on the barrel of my 1997 gasser has a problem.The out side edge of the groove has been broken of in 3 places.each of the gaps is a bout 10mm wide. Can you lot out there give me some ideas? is it a new barrel or will the o ring still seal? cheers, steve

Hi all you lovely people I hope one of you can help or at least point me in the right direction. I have been given a Beta Zero trails bike that has a few wiring problems. I'm looking to get hold of a wiring diagram as I'm not sure if there are a few bits missing. I think the year of the bike is around 1989 1990 from what bit of research i have done. Hey guys Just bought my second trials bike, old used one. Wanted to try the 300cc. Anyways after some suspension fix, greasing the linkage, changing all the fluids and all that good stuff I wanted to take it for a spinn. Rode for let's say 10 minutes or so. Got back to my driveway and let it idle for 30 sec to a minute. It boiled over and I believe that the fan did not come on. Took the fan and the radiator of the bike, hooked the fan to a battery charger with some wires and the fan worked. So took a look at the electrical system to see if I could see any broken connectors or wires. All seems good to me. I have the Ducati system and I believe the "Fun Mo…

Can any one give me a ball park idea on how much weight should be added to a little motor that revs more like a MX bike than a trials bike?

She wants to start, she rides my sherco 250 round the farm but needs to get the hang of gears and general bike riding she’s good on her mountain bike I was thinking of getting her a cheap motorcross bike or a pit bike so she can sit down and learn the basics, or do I go straight for a 125 trials bike? advice please

One of the selling issues I always used when approaching land owners for potential riding areas was how quiet Trials bikes were...and they were. That always boded well when I was showing trials videos to the land owners. BLM really liked that. None of my two stroke Fantics, Beta's or GAS GASES were loud. I could ride in the back yard and the neighbors usually didn't know I was out there. The two strokes were the quietest motorized competition machines on wheels. That helped keep us less hated in the woods too with the other types of recreation. Can't use that argument now days though. I've had to think very carefully about this post, but I think it's a valid topic. I've had/am having a bad experience with a very well know dealer of trials bikes, basically I bought a twinshock bike off him and unfortunately it turned out to be nothing like as described, I gave said dealer the benefit of the doubt and he promised to put things right, great I thought. It's now 8 months later and despite many promises (which I have in emails I've kept) I've still received nothing. Hi, This will be my first bike which I will be buying from 'TOR MOTO'. Has anyone had any dealings with them before? They're located just outside of Halifax. I've got my eye on a Montesa 315R 250 or a Beta Rev 3 250. Both look in good nic. I'll only be taking it easy, clubman trials ect so I don't need anything special. I just want to have fun. What would sway your decision? Anything out of the ordinary I should look out for? What're your experiences with both? Thank you!

Hi all I've not ridden trials for the past 5 years and I gather things have moved on a lot. I need some advice as to what bike to buy now I know it obviously comes down to rider preference BUT after being out of touch with the sport i've got a few key questions. 1 Gas gas gave gone bust is it easy enough to still get spares for Gas gas's ? 2 There is a 2015 Joto gas for sale how sustainable is the brand ? Are they around for the long haul / are the bikes reliable ? Just looking to some experienced heads for a bit of input > Thanks in advance Ben

Two things trials specific I have is the beeders (mentioned lots before I know) and a cable oiler those little aluminium things which you squirt down wd 40 or similar to oil cables. For gas gas I have a ground down 19 for the brake pivot. WHYG?
