I had my motor apart last year & put a new head gasket in & after i stopped riding i noticed a slight weeping in the front right hand corner of barrel / head, i rode it like this for awhile & just kept checking oil level even though it was loosing a minimum amount of oil. I don't like oil leaks so i took the motor down to my Mechanic who told me i needed to use three bond, he said he could do this for me, so i left the motor there with a brand new head gasket. I am just finishing the total restoration of a 1976 Honda TL 125 SE, with the original Miller 150cc conversion in a Miller Highboy frame. The clutch is virtually the same as the TLR and it's variants. All the clutch components are the ones that came with the bike, apart from new clutch springs, clutch cable and clutch lever, which have been renewed. I have checked that no components are missing, using exploded diagrams on the CMS website The clutch did work before the restoration, but the cable was badly frayed inside the sheath and the clutch arm was dragging against the exhaust pipe - both now rectified. Can anyone point me in the direction of a basic wiring diagram for a 1976 Honda TL 125se engine. I have renewed everything excepts the generator. I made detailed records and took photos, but I have no spark, so something is amiss. I need a diagram that does not include the battery, lights and horn etc. Thanks in anticipation

I'm after the speedo drive gear which is a plastic on later than 1986 is metal .

Hi I am in the process of completely rebuilding a 1976 Honda TL 125se. The basic design of the motor is similar/exactly the same in many respects to the Honda TLR. There is a rubber oil seal in the oil way of the barrel. The TL shares this same part. Anyone know what it does? Good Evening Having not been on here before I'm in the middle of putting my TLR200 back together and I'm looking for a Plastic Speedo Drive gear . There are two types from what I'm lead to believe upto 1986 was plastic and after 1986 its metal . I was wondering if anyone out there has one please?

Hello All, NewB here, Just curious if any of you can help me out with a 1986 Honda Reflex that I’ve purchased recently. It doesn’t have any lights or gauges. But I’d like to add some, this is what I have to work with this far. Can any of you help me complete the circuit ? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi All, Got a full TLR restoration on the go. Previous owner had removed lights etc from the bike but left some connections in. Anyone got any pointers of what can be removed/left in. I know the green and black are for the ignition as passed through the kill switch. I’m not sure what the other wires are for, can anyone help? Pictures below. Hello! Just picked up a TLR200 Reflex 1987 for my son. Looking for a carb rebuild kit for this but have not been able to find one - any suggestions? Would rather not spend the money for an OKO if possible but also don't want to put a junk carb on there. Thanks

Anyone know where I can get a tlm rubber manifold from or is there one off another bike that will work, my friends just got a tlm and it is split around where the carb fits, also what keihin carb so we can source a rebuild kit as it seems to be running very rich like the choke is not closing properly. Thanks for the add. First post. I recently bought what I think is a TL125 frame with a TLR 200 engine. It runs & rides but does need some work. The engine number is MD09E-1015732 The frame number is MD09-1015717 I've intensively searched but can not find for certain what this beast is. Paperwork here in Cambodia is ....meh. HI all.I am looking to modify my original 1983 tlr 200 to make it more trials friendly i have changed tyres to michelins and fitted bolt on lowered footpeg mounts. It still has original lighting kit, ignition switch, battery indicator stalks, handlebar controls etc. I would like to modify with higher handlebars and lanyard cut off as a starting point then exhaust and clutch to be looked at. Anyone got any hints ref best way to wire for trials use only? Thanks Stuart.

Good morning, everyone, The original petcock on my TL 250 was gummed up and blocked. So I ordered two aftermarket petcocks on eBay. One was a useless thing, The other was exactly like the OEM petcock (indeed, it was advertised as such), but there was a critical difference. The flange on the mounting side of the OEM petcock is 2cm. The flange on the new one is only 1CM, and therefore will not clear the standing seam on the bottom outer edge of the tank. Has anyone else had to deal with this problem? Any suggestions on where I might get a good petcock would be gratefully received. SD
