So, each time I try and strap the gas gas down to take it anywhere it ALWAYS seem to riggle loose of the ratchet straps, and slowly lowers itself onto it's side!!! How the hell are you suposed to strap a trials bike down for transport??? Cheers - matt.

Thinking of buying a Mitsubishi L200 double cab - does anyone else own one and if so, can you fit a trials bike in the back without the tail gate being open? What about a Nissan Navara? Cheers

Hi there... anyone got a Peugeot Partner Combi and using a Dave Cooper Rack? Just checked the S value (nose weight) on my towbar and it's 70kg. My Mont 315 and rack weigh in at about 80kg. Has anyone had any problems using this set up? Don't want to knacker the Partner!!! (Although the mounts etc seem very beefy) Just a shame the bike wont go inside....or has anyone got any words of wisdom to sort out this one either? Many thanks... Randyrat

Hello, anyone out there know the easiest way to get into the glow plugs of a d65 1.9 d renault kangoo. I cant get the socket and rachet handle under the air box and can't work out how to get the air box off?? Anyone any clues????

  10. Can anybody enlighten me as to a van that seats 3 in the front, will accommmodate 2/3 extra seats in the back or has crew-cab and will take 3+ bikes in the back, without going as big as the obvious LWB Sprinter/Iveco. My mate's got a Vauxhall Vivaro and it goes like a car, this is what i would ideally go for but it's not quite big enough. I need to park on my drive, and also dont fancy a big clumsy thing that gets stuck easily and 5's the car park before i even get my bike out. Cheers

  12. Mate of mine has a (supposedly lightweight) Dave cooper trailer that he needs to carry around the back of his house each time he comes back from a ride. He is about the kill himself doing this as he has to put the trailer on its side and carry it up three steps. Does anyone know of an easy way or mod to make carrying it a bit easier???? A dolly perhaps? Thanks

Hi, at the moment have a VW Caddy pick up which is excellent for the trials bike, but, due to work am needing to up grade to a bigger van. The Toyota Hiace seems like a good option and was just wondering peoples opinions on it. i.e how many bikes can you fit in and is it good on juice. Cheers

Hi I'm a bit stuck for transport at the moment so am thinking about hiring a Vauxhall combo van (company only supply these or astras) for the weekend. Anyone know if I can fit a bike in without removing anything? Any suggestions as to the best way to fit it in? Corner to corner, need to compress forks etc.? Totally new to using small vans like this so any help at all appreciated, thanks.

Anyone recommend a tow bar mounted bike carrier suitable for a van ? It needs to be able to allow the bikes handlebars to clear the back of the van doors, so I guess the front wheel carrier needs to be at quite an angle to allow the handle bars to clear ? Adverts for some I have seen imply only suitable for cars

Hi I have just bought a Montesa Cota 315R and want to get it road registered so I can legally use it on green lanes. I've seen several advertised with log books and T&T so it must be possible. At the moment I've yet to collect the bike. It does not have any lights on it. But does come with a "lighting kit". I don't know what's in the kit (if its complete or not). What modifications does one have to do to a bike such as this to get an MOT. I assume one does not even technically have to fit lights for the old "daytime MOT" as its so-called! But I may do this anyway as lights might be useful. Obviously I'd like to get an age related plate (in this case it would be a …
