Many times, we are all just like politicians. We gripe a lot about things without really coming up with solutions, or being willing to try things to see if they might actually work because they are new or outside our comfort zone. I have been thinking about this for awhile now and decided it was time to throw it out there as guys like AMiller are starting to look at Gate Trials too, so I decided it would be better to begin a new thread than hijack the others. This is long, and I apologize for that, but I felt it needed detailed explanation to make my argument. So here it is. Since 1990 I’ve been in our club presidency more times than you can count on your fingers. …

After attending the Ontario CA Endurocross, I am amazed by the popularity of this sport among young (and a few old)Trials Riders. A $100. entry, and about 1 hr of total riding time the whole day! Speed,Fame,Money,..... the reasons lost on me.

So I rode my first Trialscross in Vegas. Man what a work out. Here comes a bunch of whinning. The sad part was I really worked out for this. I have gone to Endurocross for the last 3 years and sat in the stands yelling GO AROUND, PASS HIM, GO GO GO and several other comments. Let me tell you I was exhausted after the qualifer. My forearms were stiff as a rock, my mouth as dry as a cotton ball. But im ready to do it again next year. This event was much harder than I thought. I have no idea how you could ride a motocross bike around the course. The sad part is I made the main event and did not know it. So I missed riding the main event. Here is a Video. Im the one who…

Hi everyone over there, i had the privilage of attending your world round this year, and thanks to Curt Commer even ended up observing on sect 15 on the sunday. I'd just like to say you guys have a facility there thats miles better than here in the UK. The atmosphere and friendliness of the people was just brilliant, if anyone reads this who had anything to do with the event, i take my hat off to you. Regards Nigel UK.

Hi all, lots going on at TTC these days. Tommi Ahvala is here for about a week between shows, he's been out practicing with Ray Peters & Chris Florin and David Chavez. Quite the show. Today it was sunny and 50-something and all these guys are going at it, just another day in trials heaven (sorry to you guys & gals up north). Also note: 1 GasGas, 1 Beta, 1 Montesa, 1 Sherco. I didn't find out who has to buy ice cream tonight, but it usually isn't Tommi. A couple different trials training sessions going on this weekend, and a crew from 2-wheel-Tuesday on Speed is finally coming up to film a segment. Don't know if Greg White will come, but I hope we'll get so…

Just curious about the section difficulty for the EX and PRO lines; is the scores in the PRO class going to be single digits for the winners or will there be a real challenge to show off for the "media"??

For those who are not aware, the Training Days will be held again this year at TTC the last weekend of this month of March. A variety of classes each day put on by many of the top riders in the US, and for a very nominal fee for the weekend which covers riding, some food and entertainment, and if you are really lucky(and dumb enough to deserve it, like me), a lecture by professor D. Brown! Expect names like Bruce LeRiche, Chris Florin, Ryan Young and others! Pat Smage is probably ready to escape some snow! Will Ibsen will probably be there, and i would guess the Beta team! Maybe Montesa? This is one of the most fun weekends of riding that you will ever do, in some o…

Bruce LeRiche, Chris Florin, Pat Smage, Will Ibsen, Andrew Blane, and former pro and 6-times champ Ryan Young, Kieth Wineland, Sarah Duke, Phillip Smage, Ronnie Commo---- am I forgetting anyone? Cody could not make it! Well, long story made short, they were all there to help and play, later. After a bit of rest from picking up trainees all weekend, many were staying to practice a while before other commitments. Hmmmm, maybe I can get a fwe pics up from Monday! Good hit from Patrick!

I had an opportunity to ride with 2 youngsters who participated in the TTC youth nationals and training week. You could see the improved riding technique and confidence of these boys. A tip of my hat to the TTC and all who made it possible. Your efforts are already bearing fruit, and will go a long ways towards developing a solid base of riders in the future.

We are very lucky to again have the support of Tucker Rocky for this years Trial des Nation team effort in Italy. Tucker Rocky will supply our team members with matching riding gear and rider presentation clothing. We feel we are very fortunate to have the recognition of our sport from a company with the reputation of Tucker Rocky. Tim Pritchard and Larry Klein of TR have been instrumental in this effort. Thank you Tucker Rocky

Looking to get back into trials after many years off, rebuilding a Sherpa T to ride and I do not see a lot of vintage competitions available in socal or elsewhere, I know it is big in Europe but does not seem that way here, am I better off just competing at another level instead of bike type?

Two wins in the WTC Youth is not just good, it is GREAT! Pat's big adventure has turned out to be a tremendous success! Thanks to all that provided support! Now on that support thing, Louise Forsley still appears to be over there racking up a few championship points!

Just thought I would pass this along... I was watching Two Wheel Tuesday on Speed TV and noticed that Greg White (the host) had a clip board with a ERE sticker on the back. I thought it was cool to see a bit of trials advertising.

Since we are starting to get some questions from people about the location already, I will post a few pieces of basic information to hold people over until the official information is out. Texana Ranch is near Blackwell, TX. Going to google maps and typing "texana ranch" into the search should find it. It is on Ross Rd. There are lots of RV hook ups on site. The information on how to reserve will be provided in the rider info when posted. We encourage people to bring their motorhomes/campers. There is not a whole lot of hotel choices. There is a local hotel in Bronte, TX (14 mi). The camp ground in Robert Lee (26 mi) has some rooms, and there are hotels in Sweetwater, T…
