My stomping ground.... I got a nice 2004 Sherco 2.9 earlier this year, have about 4-5 tanks of gas through it. Been riding some of the old stomping grounds I used to hit when I was a kid. More fun on a trials bike for sure, starting to get into decent bike shape. Anyway it been fun learning all I can thought I'd share a few pics of where I ride. I am lucky to be able to ride right from home my parents have some land in the country and all the old trails I rode as a kid are still right where they used to be This section goes on like this for a very long time, LOTS of gnarly sections like this to try and get over. I basically try to go slowly and get over as mu…

Hello fellow trial bike riders. In April is the possibly las annual Alley Sweep in PDX. Here is the link: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2013/03/portland-alley-sweeper-urban-enduro/ I will wave the riders by our local alley, which I help maintain, and not ride this year. My TY250A is having its frame powder coated. Have fun.

With the loss of my favorite dealer (Commo) I'm finding it easier, and for the most part cheaper (if I buy enough stuff to cover shipping) to just order on-line from Europe. Anybody else finding this to be the case. I'm all for supporting the local dealer but find it hard to justify when all they do is make a phone call to the same distributer who drop ships it to me.

I am saddened to find that Royce Klein from Trials Incorporated has passed. He was always a true down home Grassroots rider who wanted nothing more than just to enjoy the sport. He would go out of his way to make sure the show would go on. From numerous TI events and the AMA Vintage days he was always a presense. Trials inc and the rest of the trials community will forever miss him. If it ran on fuel and was going to get him through the day he would ride it. If you needed a helping hand he was always there to help. Ride on sir and keep your feet on the pegs. --The USA trials community

The Rhode Island Trials club is working closely with the AMA and the FIM in an effort to secure a United States World Round in Exeter, Rhode Island in 2015. We have developed a good working relationship with the FIM over the years and have put on several World Rounds, the last being 14 years ago in 1999. We are really excited this year as we now have, for the first time, a US representative on the FIM CTR committee ---- Martin Belair, a long time friend of Rhode Island Trials Club. The FIM has had a recent change in the organization and the new leaders are being proactive to promote the sport of Trials. Some of their changes and rules have been controversial, but thei…

Hello, New to this fantastic group. Bought a Yamaha TY 250 from a great collector in Montana. I live in Oregon and wonder if any of you would recommend a common transporter that I can hire to ship my TY? Thank you. Patrick

For the people in and around upstate New York. The annual night trials is this Saturday the 23th in Warsaw Ny. on Saltvale Rd. A good time is going to be had by all, or just come and sit around the bomb fire and tell storys. We will start about an hour before sun down. And yes I will be bringing some adult WV drinks with me. There will be food for all or bring a dish to pass. Hope to meet all the old friends and make some new ones.

Ok you Moto-mutts, lets get something going. Who uses what to haul their toys to the various meets and general play time rides? Do you favor vans? How about a trailer? Do you camp out of it? We want information! We want pictures! I am looking into a Moto van for myself, maybe an E-250/350 on the big side, all the way down to a Astro/Safari on the little end. Talk about it folks, lets see it! Blip...

Looking at the schedule below you can see clearly that there is a possibility to try something new. Please answer this question: IF there was an East and West Championship offered would it be something you might do rather than stay home and do none? In 2014 the West would be CO & KS and East would be PA & TN. In 2015 East would be OH & NE and West would be CA & AZ. 4 of 4 rounds would count for either East or West championships. The overall NATC Championships would remain in place and unchanged meaning 5 of 8 would count for the overall series Championships. 2014 Mototrial National Schedule …

I recently received a survey in my email specifically for riders that rode the national series in 2012, but not in 2013. Many of the questions were asking as to why I chose not to ride this season, and, judging by some of the available answers, it appears they had noticed the topic on this forum started by Martin. Now, I can't say for certain as to if this is the first year they have done this type of survey or not, since this is the first year I haven't ridden nationals since I started in '03. I would assume this is a first just judging by the drastic decline this season. I must give them credit though, at least they are addressing it.
