Hi, im looking at getting my daughter a trials bike, she's 11 year old and wasn't sure how long an 80cc would last her for size and power or is it worth getting a 125 and just letting her practice till she's old enough to compete. Cheers.

14 year old 2005 B Class British Champ Jack Challoner has agreed terms with John Lampkin to stay on the much improved 125 Beta for 2006. This will be Jacks 4th full year as a beta Teamster which has taken him to 2 British Titles along the way. Jack will also be wearing Beta / Ritratto Sport clothing as part of this deal for 2006. Jack has long been associated with Wayne Braybrook & X-Citing clothing, but will be moving to the new brand at the end of the year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Wayne for all his help over the last 3 years. Although he will not be completely cutting all ties with Wayne as he will still be using REP & Hope pro…

Hi, I am new and have recently purchased a Gas Gas 50 txt boy for my son. The clutch fluid is low and needs topping up the owners manual says "Warning: Use the recommended oil. See quick guide to maintenance, page 8" Problem is no clutch fluid is mentioned on page 8. Is this just ordinary brake/clutch fluid ? Thanks

Anybody tried doing an engine swop so as to avoid the crap twist and go thing? Once my boy has grown a bit more we would like to progress to a proper petrol bike but a medium wheel might be too big for him so I was wondering if I could mod a gasgas boy to a proper multi gear bike?? Any ideas?

Anybody ever tried converting the beta 80 to a flatslide carb I.E Keihin, OKO etc??? I think the bike would run cleaner on a better carb, we bought my son his new 2017, its never run brilliantly, often fuelling up and idle seems to vary. I know the smaller cc bikes will suffer with pilot jets blocking up because by nature the hole is very small. However Ive had to clean out the carb much more often than on any other bike and also play with the needle height, mixture screw etc to try and retain a decent smooth running. Surely the top lads on these bikes cant have these issues? Do the likes of Hemmingways have modified bikes? or did we just get the Frida…

Hi, I'm having real trouble trying to back bleed the clutch on my son's 2009 Beta 80. I've used this method before on other bikes and have had no problems at all. There seems to be a problem at the master cylinder, because when I removed the brake line from the master cylinder I could see a nice flow of fluid coming out of the end of the line - when pumping through with the syringe - from the nipple at the slave cylinder. When it's connected back up, nothing is coming through. I believe the technique is to leave the lever released while back bleeding - which is what I am doing. I wouldn't have thought that there would be a blockage in the master cylinder, as the…
