Does anyone know what time of year the new models are released? It’s around mid year isn’t it?

Hi, I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered before. I've had lots of bikes over many years and as a bit of nostalgia I recently bought a very nice Alp 250. So far I have just cleaned the carb and all else seems pretty good. Just wondering about a source for basic parts in the future. thanks!

Hello all, I am sure its been hashed and rehashed but I can't seem to locate the topic cleanly. My desire is to lighten the clutch lever pull on a 2014 Beta 300 2T. I have experimented in the past with removing two springs on enduro bikes, I am, however somewhat hesitant to do this on my Beta for various reasons. At one point came across a thread in which a member, I believe it was Lineaway chimed in with a set of alternate springs that seemed to be just the ticket. I can't remember it was even a Beta that was referred to. If anyone has suggestions or can point to a solution, I'd be much appreciative Thanks, -ADAM-

Evo 2012 300. Runs sweet after new bottom end lock down but recently I’ve been having moments where the old girl boils up. First time it’s ever started doing this. I took the water pump cover off and the plastic impeller rattles on the shaft, rocks back and forth. Still goes with the shaft but I wonder if when hot the shaft can spin in the impeller? Appears worn to me. I’m ordering up a replacement. Would this worn one be causing my overheat possibly? I next need to check the fan switch and fan is actually working any advice on what and how to check? Thanks in advance

I have a 08 Rev 3 250 and I took the clutch apart to check the disks and basket. I have everything put back together but when I work the leaver it is super hard and it's not lifting the pressure plate to disengage the clutch. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

I’ve ordered another run of the 3mm offset clutch washers. Gonna have to charge for these as I gave away the last batch and it’s expensive to give away custom parts.I figure $35 for a set should cover my cost and postage in the US. I’ll have to figure out a payment scheme. Not gonna give them to a dealer to sell this time. Tried that last time and he just gave them away and everyone said what a great guy he was for giving them free parts. 😬

It is not easy to use standard bent feeler gauges for valve clearance inspection and I would think a 90 degree bend would work better. Has anyone found 90 degree gauges in the correct size? I found some sets used for big diesel engines but the smallest is 0.008" and they are needed down to 0.004" (0.1 mm). There are some straight brass gauges. Do they bend better than stainless steel?

Does anyone know if the lower shock bolt and special nut on Rev3 2000 is the same dimensions as on the newer beta rev3 models 06, 07?

YO dudes! Read the manual and it might as well be in Italian? Bike runs good but the idle speed is excessive, how do you adjust it without surgical tools? And yes, the throttle cable etc. is all functioning like all good domino's do!

Hi I have a 2013 Beta Evo, had it from new, very little use (5 trials a year on average, give or take) and when it has been ridden it's just the easy course. Just before Covid started the fork seals went so I had them replaced by my local Beta dealer. I did 1 trial then lockdown struck and the bike didnt see any more action until November last year. I did 1 trial and the forks seals were leaking again. I have had them replaced by my local dealer again and done 2x easy trials and now they are leaking again. BUT also, when the bike is sitting on a stand in the garage doing nothing, the oil is pooling underneath almost as if its pressurised and pushing the oil out …

I haven't put it on the scales but I have the impression that the weight distribution of my 2013 EVO 300 is biased towards the rear. Sag and spring rates (stock on the front, uprated on the rear) seem good but I need to push down about a foot in front of the lowest point of the frame to get the front and rear suspension working together. I'm tempted to drop the fork through the yokes by a few mm to put more weight on the front but, being a total novice I don't know if a bias towards the rear is considered a bad thing? Any thoughts?

Hi, I have a technical question concerning the front suspension legs. I just replaced the oils seals of the front fork of my beta Rev-3 2008. I took everything apart, cleaned everything thoroughly, reassembled them with the new oil seals and put 350cc of oil in the left fork and 370 cc in the right one (according to the prescriptions). But then the problem comes along. I first tightened up the right fork plug when the leg was totally compressed, so the leg was very short and when I pulled it out it automatically went back to the be very short. My mistake! Hello, afther my front wheel was going to high and to far my original Beta Handlebar need to be changed on the bike. I have a short upper body and long legs, 1m74cm tall. Whats your advise for a handlebar? Renthal Jitsie ....original BETA ... Greathings, Luc

Can you use any year CDI for your bike. If the one is newer I’ve replaced the original by my own errors and the replacement has also failed. It’s on a 300ss wondering if you can use any EVO CDI. Not understanding the whole purpose. Thanks to everyone who responds in a advance cheers.

Hi all found a good running tr34 picked it up yesterday the engine runs and starts very well which is a bonus but the cluch started to become abit random after about 20mins light slow rideing in tight flat Woods sometimes engaging far out (lever wise) and other times nearer the bar which is whare I like it.when I first took it out I could also seem to find a false neutral if you keep pushing down past first. But it's seems to have stopped doing it now lol which is weard.any info would be much appreciated and does anyone know what the best gearbox oil is for these engines. I'm thinking putoline light gear but any ideas from other owners. Cheers.

Hello All, I am working on freshening up my 2020 Evo 300 4t for the coming season and I have two questions at this point. 1- I bought a TRP shock to and am wondering if it matters which way I orient it? It looks like shaft up gives easier access to adjusters, but print on the shock indicates shaft down. I searched the web and people seem to do both. 2- My bike tends to dribble gas out of the carb vent lines when I am riding rough terrain. I don't relish getting gas in the streams, etc. The float level is to spec, and it still happens. I remember running vent lines up and over the carb in the past, and I am wondering if this would help, although I imagine it might de…

Identify this aftermarket Hydraulic Clutch fitted to my Beta Zero ? Any guidance here appreciated I know literally nothing about 1990 vintage Trials Bikes I purchased what I believe to be a 1992 Beta Zero But it has this Hydraulic Clutch set up ? I have a number of questions like how do you bleed it ? It does not seem to have a bleed valve but I am sure I can research that if I first know what it is. I am sure this bike came with a Cable Clutch

Does anyone turn off the fuel and let the engine cut out thus clearing the carb and fuel line after the last ride of the day? Could it be damaging? (Beta Evo 250)

Just wondered who makes the best fitting levers for the Evo Grimeca clutch and brake controls on a 2020 Evo 200? I’ve got a couple of sets of basic Apico dual purpose ones with the two sets of adjuster holes but they don’t have the same fit and feel as a genuine Beta one I have, a short type clutch lever from a Rev3. Unfortunately I only have one though and no brake side. And I prefer a matching pair! AS3 make some that look good or there’s the Apico Elite. Or does anyone make an OEM replica? Don’t really want to pay £30 odd quid each side for ones from Beta. Any suggestions?

Hello, I'm new to Trials Central and this is my first post... I decided to have a go at trials, bought a 2013 EVO 300 2T and have downloaded all the manuals and info I could find. I spent a couple of seasons club racing short circuits and built my own 750 Yamahas, so I'm reasonably confident on the tools but specs/settings supplied by Beta seem a bit sketchy compared to what I'm used to from Yamaha. I'm about 14 stone suited and booted and have bought a pair of 10% uprated springs to fit. For the fork, the owners manual says "Note : For screw A (triple tree clamps): torque wrench setting 7,8 : 9,1 Nm" but gives no torque info for the caps or anything else; …
