I don't suppose any clever, organised person out there has a list of bearing sizes for techno swing arm and dog bone? Need the swing arm bearings, dog bone bearings and the rocker link bearings. The user manual usefully lists all engine bearing sizes but doesn't for suspension parts 😐

Hi, everyone. I have just bought a 2022 250 factory to replace my 2017 standard 250. I have found the throttle to be a bit slow when revving up. Is there any easy telĺ to see if the previous owner put a slow action throttle on it? Instead of standard? As grips have been changed at some point too. Given the condition of the bike and only a year old it seems strange to change the grips to me.

Me again... Needing some confirmation on techno stator setup. Im running the Ducati type ignition and my stator is mounted directly to the engine with no backplate or way of adjusting timing. Should this have a backplate? There's lots of photos of replacement items that all have a back plate with them. Im currently eliminating why the damned bike will not start and backfires. Carb is cleaned with new jets, plug is correct with correct gap and good spark. Inlet is clean and not leaking. Exhaust flows well. Replaced matched piston and barrel along with head orings and base gasket. Starting to scratch my head now and thinking timing or possibly fault…

Just finding my feet with a bit of spannering. As part of a series of upgrades on my lads 80 small wheel today, I wanted to fit a better fuel tap, as the Beta OEM part isn't particularly easy to operate. I picked up a Jitsie part: https://www.jitsie.com/en/fuel-taps/53781-fuel-tap.html Got the fuel tank off to fit it and whilst it does fit the tank thread, no matter which orientation I put the tap in, it conflicts with either the engine itself, or the coolant hose off the top of the cylinder head. There just isn't enough room as far as I can tell. Two hours faffing didn't improve the situation. I've put a query in to Jitsie directly to see what they say.…

Does anyone have a fairly decent barrel only for sale? Plenty barrel/pistons for sale, but piston is fine. Just a barrel needed. See the photos to see the cause of a lot of swearing in the shed 🙈🤣

I am not a motorcycle mechanic and until I moved to Spain mainly had four stroke bikes. However a friend has brought his Beta TR34 to me because it starts ok but bogs down immediately. year unknown. I have dismantled the carb (Dellorto PHBH26 TD) and blown out the jets and airways but to no avail. Any hints and tips would be much appreciated. BC.

Hi All, Help please. I've read through the other forums on this topic but I'm still stuck. I've got a 2022 Beta Evo 2t with, I'm told, about 6 hours on it. I just purchased the bike last week. I noticed the few short rides around the driveway that the cooling fan did not turn on. The other day after about 30ish minutes of riding around the driveway the bike started to spit coolant as it was over heating. I wired a bypass around the thermal switch (unplugged and connected the two wires) and the fan turns on fine. I then assumed it was the thermal switch so ordered a new OEM Beta Evo thermal switch. I installed the new switch last night (very straight f…

Hi all. I've a 97 beta techno Dougie Lampkin replica which I bought for a decent price as it had no spark. This bike has a separate CDI to the coil and original coil is a blue Ducati one with only two wires, a live feed and an earth. I managed to get a spark with this set up however the wires entering the coil are on their last legs. I've also a (newer?) Coil pack with integrated CDI, the one with 4 spade connectors and an earth wire. 2 green, 1 red and 1 white inputs. If I were to use this instead, is it as simple as doing away with the stand alone CDI and taking the green, red and white wires from the stator straight to this newer CDI/coil? The yell…

Is there any kind of manual related to servicing the shock on a 2016 Evo 4t standard model? If not, are there any specifications for oil type, oil volume and gas pressure? I do see the remains of a sticker that probably said Sachs. I softened the fork valving and like the result so would like to soften the shock also.

Hi! I’m wondering if a 2010 Beta rim will fit on a 2001 Beta Rev 3? There is a guy selling a complete rim for a cheap price and my rim is broken. Stupid question I know… but I don’t have the knowledge. Best Regards!

During my clutch inspection I found two steels that had lips along the outer perimeter on one side that the adjacent friction fits nicely into. These aren’t mentioned anywhere in the manuals I found, do they go in a special location in the stack? The frictions were all within spec so I reassembled as it came apart and flipped the spring washers so the raised area was nestled inside the spring, lowering the effecting preload pressure on the springs. Clutch is a lightswitch, I’m hoping to get more progressiveness in its action…. Thoughts? Skiddy

Took muffler off during my inspection on the new to me bike and the o rings were hard broken junk. I’m trying to wrap my head around how the new ones will go on. Do they go on the Ti header first, then slide the muffler on, hoping they go into their prospective grooves? Seems optimistic at best…..

The spring that returns the tiny lever end has gone. The foldable lever end now collapses. Any idea where I can get a replacement? A new lever seems overkill.

Hi guys I could do with some advice I have been stupid and overtightened and snapped the right hand side Allen bolt in the top yolk I tried an easy out and it has made a mess so I have drilled down the side of the original bolt and tapped it for another which is now in and tight but I have little confidence in this now so I want to replace the top yolk but finding one seems to proving difficult but their is 38mm top yokes for, rev3,gasgas and sherco would any of these be a straight swap and fit or does anybody buly any chance have a beta evo top yolk for sale. Many thanks.

I often find my Evo (300 4T) side stand sinks into the mud and there isn't always a handy tree nearby! You can buy aftermarket feet to increase the surface area for other bikes stands but can't see anything for the evo. Beta make one for the RR. It has a very small foot which doesn't make it easy to aftermarket feet to grip on. It does have a hole presumable for water. So guess the only options are to carry around a puck, find a welder or a better stand at the right length with spring holder that fits the standard bracket. Be great to hear if anyone else has solved this?
