After muchos preparation.......bike now stolen! Gutted! Not even ridden it this year! 320 with 250 head, repaired airbox and yellow nutlock on a few bits! Rear fender held with catapult elastic..........helps with repair bills! YES it was locked.....NO, it wasn't insured!!

Jon Sands (big boy) had his Beta Evo 250 2010 stolen 8 weeks ago, the bike poped up on ebay this week, a sting operation was planned for tomorrow. But the plan has gone wrong due to the fact that some poor person has been to Leicester today and paid cash in hand, please help Jon to identify who bought the bike today, with in the last two hours. The bike has an IRC rear tyre, missing rad guard, hebo pegs, and drilled out nuts to lift front mudguard, also the chain was fitted with out being passed through the tensioner. Stolen Beta 270 Rev3 2001 Model, Stolen on Tuesday evening from Scarborough, around 11.00pm. Bike description is as follows. Blue, with very distinctive Graphics to tank and Rear Mudguard. Has COL on rear mudguard, tank has lacquer over graphics Brand new top end, 250 actually, NOT 270, just had major head rebuild. Exhaust has a brass coloured bracket in the centre for support, not the usual fastening, as broke off. Air filter panel to left of bike has white reflective vynil to stop marks with boots. A mate of mine had a couple of bikes taken from the Reeth Road area of Richmond last night approx 3.30am the police reckon. The bikes were were last seen in the Skerne park part of Darlington,(According to Police) The bikes were taken from our garage in Richmond. What the police suspect is that they have been ridden from Richmond to Darlington at approx 3:40 (First hearing / sighting) to 4:20am roughly. Keep an eye on your bikes in the Durham/Sunderland area, I'm not sure if I've had local scum watching me or been followed but I suspect they're local. As they weren't successful this info may help others. First attempt on the weekend of the 20th/21st - crow bar used on the door but failed to open it, possibly disturbed - the Enfield bolt locks held up to it. Second attempt 01:30 on the 5th - they got the door open by bending it ( a piece of box section between the bolt locks would have prevented this) the Xena alarm which was smashed is thought to have made them reluctant to hang around, the ground anchors and chains stopped them from simply running off with a bike. …

Last week some toerag pinched my Armstrong CMT310 from my house in Derby. I've been totally underwhelmed by the response from the police (Nil). Still, I suppose it's my fault for owning a trials bike in the first place. It was road registered, but had no lights, though I guess the number plate will be long gone. I know it's not the greatest trials bike ever built, but I liked it and I'm mighty ticked off. on the 7th of febuary my garage was broken into and stolen was montesa 247 rolling chassis in good nick complete,the engine was left .and also a beta tr34 which was complete but stood outside for about 5 years so pretty rusty .the beta belonged to my brother gary bamford who was killed in an accident last year and the montesa was my dads so sentimental .i will give reward for info thanks
