A recently restored 1960 Scottish (32A) has been stolen from a garage in South Reading Berkshire Reg *** GWL. Finished in a brighter than standard blue. Any help in recovery greatly appreciated. Theft reported to Thames Valley police. Thanks. Dave

Four bikes stolen early hours of 1st April from Bristol area. My mates had their bikes stolen last night. 2011 gas gas 300 racing and a repost montesa. The montesa is quite distinctive, it's a 2008 fitted with a Mitanni front pipe and silencer, anodised gold sump guard, swing arm cups, fork yokes and wheel rims with the back one being machined out works style. It isn't the standard montesa gold, it is the lighter TRW gold colour. Keep your eyes out and let's keep these type of people away from our sport!

On Thursday 1st September 2016 @ 1.30pm broad daylight, 3 Young lads aged Approx between 20 - 30 broke into my garage, using a petrol stihl saw to cut through the chains. They where seen loading the Beta Evo 300 2015, Norco Mountain Bike into back of a light silver Ford Focus Estate 2009, Car reg PN59 BYJ - Reg comes back to the right car but police belive it is a poole/clone car, They could not close the boot of the car due to the bike being too long for the car and left the boot/tail gate open while driving away, If you do see this car please contact West Yorkshire Police Immediately!!!! Further to my recent report of a stolen bike in W Yorks. be on the look out for a van (make unknown) with reg no. DF 54 MWO. This van was seen being loaded with a trials bike (probably mine) but the current owner is not registered with DVLA (surprise). The police are trying to trace the vehicle so contact them if you see it.

my friends gas gas jtr 160 has been stolen from a lock up container in cumbria last night along with some copper and a trailer , the bike is a 1996 model in yellow and athough i dont have the chassis number at the moment i do know the previous owners so i should be able to get it. it has the usual scars but some of its identificating features are the back fender has been bent back and cracked almost completely across and was repaired with a piece of plate underneath and riveted in place , it also has annodised bar clamps , the stopwatch in the tank plastic is missing , the front brake is rubbish , the engine makes a clicking noise when running like the kicksta…

My bike has been stolen tonight whilst in process of sale. To cut a long story short, I agreed to deliver the bike to the buyer's address. When I met him there we went through everything like normal, and long and short of it was he rode off down the main road and by time I had spun round the van and given chase he was gone! Hi guys, just a warning about more thieving B******S. My bike was stolen from my garden shed at about 3:30 am thurs 17. april. in Blyth Northumberland. My bike is a.... (WAS) a Gas Gas TXT 249 1999. in blue and was in almost mint condition as i had just finished restoring it. I thought it was safe and sound in my brick built shed in my back garden, the only way in is through a very narrow yard which has a 6ft locked gate at the front, a 4ft bolted gate at the rear and two very loud wheelie bins in between, the shed was also locked up with a very heavy duty padlock. It takes me....(USED TO TAKE ME) a good half hour to get the bike out of the shed, move the wheelie bin…

Guys just to let you know there are bike thieves in the Watford & Hemel area. They are apparently targeting small bikes, including trials bikes. I was lucky the missus thought a door was flapping in the wind & went out to investigate to be confronted by two scroates, one with an iron bar in the garage. She asked what they were doing???!!! & after she tried to lock them in they pushed her out of the way they ran off closely followed by a silly bugger in his pyjamas welding a three foot extension bar. Just lucky the police found me before I found the scroates!!!!

Keep an eye on your bikes in the Durham/Sunderland area, I'm not sure if I've had local scum watching me or been followed but I suspect they're local. As they weren't successful this info may help others. First attempt on the weekend of the 20th/21st - crow bar used on the door but failed to open it, possibly disturbed - the Enfield bolt locks held up to it. Second attempt 01:30 on the 5th - they got the door open by bending it ( a piece of box section between the bolt locks would have prevented this) the Xena alarm which was smashed is thought to have made them reluctant to hang around, the ground anchors and chains stopped them from simply running off with a bike. …
