Hello guys ive took my 198A to be painted hes only doing it in 4 weeks so got time to think about what bluevi want it in. Any body know the RAL number for ford eletrice monza blue? I did tell him to do it in the 5015 code witch I had a 199A done some time ago what do you guys think I should do? Cheers bondy.

hi just an update of my 198A nearly finished still waiting for the wheels to come back. i repainted the forks as they looked abit crap ive changed the black magneto cover for a alloy 1 looks abit beter.

Can anyone supply original spec figures for wheel rim offset for my 198A - not in the manuals as far as I can see? I loosely built up the rear wheel yesterday and couldn't get near the offset I'd measured before I stripped them down, but if the rest of the bike is anything to go by nothing has been very stock! Wheels are Akront 21" 1.6 - 36T-581 and WM2-1.85" 36-TR-11-78, hubs concentric, new spokes from InMotion and are the same lengths as originals etc. so all stock as far as I can make out. It could be my lacing at this was a first attempt, but I (thought) I'd done it OK!

hi guys im going to be replacing my 198bs air box for a new 1 i havant looked at it yet could anybody tell me is there any spacers between the box and frame?

hi guys can anybody tell me if the airbox on a 198b has any spacers that go inbetween the box and filter?

Hi, Ive got a 198b and the flywheel seems to be about half the thickness of my older 190 model. It may have been machined down but if so, its a good job as it looks 'factory' if that makes sense. Does anyone know if the 198b engine was any different than earlier models? thanks Stu

ive just required a 198B and S/Arm the frame is bent the S/Arm seems straight tho i did a test by holding the boss off the bush housing up to a straight edge no gaps. i plan on having the frame sorted and blasted and back to it's former glory in white. my question is on some off the later S/Arms did they not bother putting grease nipples on the bushes? just this 1 is blank there are no holes and it's not been filled as it;s bare metal.

Hi I have just got myself a 198b in what looks to be very original condition. I will be using the bike for easy trials as I'm not the best of riders. I have a 199a that is a bit too highly geared, if I remember correctly it's got 11/39 gearing ( I'll check this is correct). The 250 needs new chain and sprockets, so before I go any further could anyone give me their thoughts on what works best for them on this bike. I have tried to post some really dodgy pictures of the bike. Any thoughts, good or bad would be appreciated.

hi anybody know the corect colour for the 199. think its silver but not sure. i know many of you boys wont agree with me but its a 199A but ive allready got a blue one. i want a change ive allways fanced the one with a red tank what colour was the engin?

I'm going for a vintage Sherpa, and I have two oportunities. Does anybody know what model ara this two bikes?? There are not the same, but I'm not capable to know if they are 199, or 199A. Or what model are both ?? I'll apreciate your help. Thank you.

A rare 199 maybe? A friend just picked up a 199 with the Serial number 000001. This bike was found in the USA. With paper work that shows the bike came straight. from Bultaco it has macthing numbers on the frame and motor. Does anyone know about this bike?

I just picked up a model 199 A. I have a chance to pick up a Campeon kit tank from a 125 Sherpa fairly cheap. Will the Campeon tank fot the 199 A? Always loved the looks of those kits.

Hi everyone, bit cheeky but does anyone have any taper roller bearings in there steering that as the part number ,i no a guy that works for a bearing shop, says he mite be able to fix me up with some cheap if he as a part number . Any body out there no. Thanks
