  1. Started by yellow_cad,

I got the OSSA World clutch springs that are softer than stock. Seems like I should be able simply just to replace one spring at a time with the primary cover off, readjust my clutch, and I'm on my way. I'm just checking to see if that method is fine. Thanks for any thoughts. Jim

  2. Started by scorpatic,

I want to reduce the size of the spread to the grips and levers. As this is really tiring on a full days riding. The system is AJP anyone know who makes an Ossa green AJP short lever for clutch and brake? Scorpatic

Hi, Thinking of fitting a PWK 28mm on the old Gripper. A common mod by all accounts, however I’m struggling to find the basic start jetting for these carbs. Does anyone know and willing to share? I have an 28mm OKO already but I guess it’ll need jets/ slide/ needle to suit the gripper. TIA Brent

  4. Started by ossabikes27,

does anybody know where i can buy a new fuel fitting that threads into my carburetor? This bike’s a bar find so some parts are missing off of it. My bike is a 72’ OSSA 250 Mar

  5. The bike is together, and now has a bit of ride time around the yard. No issues, and very pleased with it. When I went to buy spark plugs weeks ago, I thought I got the correct one. I searched the internet quickly and found recommendations from heat range 8 to 5. I read that BP6ES was correct, and it did cross reference to the ages old Champion N9YC I removed. I now suspect, having seen other references to BP7ES being correct. I have pretty much ruled out the heat range 5 and 8. So, for a 1973 MAR 250, is it a NGK BP6ES or BP7ES? Ready to get the jetting fully sorted out, and prefer to do it on the truly correct plug.

  7. Started by biffco,

I have just found out that where I thought I had a 250 MAR, it is in fact a 350. Last year I brought a new Minuki carb for the bike but spec'ed for a 250. What jets and setting should I change too?? i have noticed the bike has a low down flat spot , so hopefully this is the reason why?!

  8. Hi all, I went for a rather long ride and both my brakes seized up. At this point, I'm focusing on the rear. I thought maybe it was the weight of the lever acting on master, making the rear brakes drag and heat up. Should there be a return spring on the rear pedal, if so where does it go? Thanks in advance!

  11. Started by paul n haylock,

Hi, I have just bought an O.S.S.A, 350 (310cc) trials bike and wondered what the correct 2 stroke mixure would be for it. I have no manuals on the bike at all to check? Any particular oil brand would you recomend?

  12. Started by old trials fanatic,

Ok I'm looking to replace the old amal concentric mk1 carb on the Ossa mar 350 and I've come across the Nibbi carb. Are they any good? Anybody used one?

  13. Started by jsp,

Went out riding on Saturday and my 2012 ossa wouldn't start at all, checked the plug and it was bone dry, checked a few connections around the plug and tried again and it fired into life. could this be the start of a fuel pump problem I ve heard of people having problems but not sure of the symptoms jsp

  14. Started by gogs56,

I have fitted sealed bearings in my OSSA MAR mk3 front wheel. Do I need to get felt washers for when I fit the wheel back into the forks? If so where can I get them from? Note: This is a restoration I'm doing and there were no felt washers when I took the wheel apart.

  15. It tore when removing it...I super-glued it, seems to be (barely) holding...but wondering if there are any replacements to get... Thanks

  17. Started by neandethal,

Hi, just changed the clutch springs in my MAR for new ones and now the kickstart doesn't turn the engine, and there is a nasty spring recoil noise, seems to be return spring noise, have checked that there is plenty of free play in cable and that the new springs are tensioned up enough, any ideas, am going to refit original springs but seems like the rachet is no longer engaging. would rather not have to split cases. Thanks for any advise

  18. Hi I need to replace the damaged VIN stickers on my ossa mar and tr77 so does any one who does them .cheers thackers.

  19. Started by basketcase,

Hi, can anyone recommend how to remove the wheel bearings on my 1975 mar? I made the mistake of painting the hubs before I realised that they needed renewing I usually use a hammer and brass drift but before I attack them I was wondering if there was an easier way. Also what gauge are the spoke nipples? The spokes have polished up alright but the nipples are a bit mankey so I thought that I`d replace them. Cheers, Nigel.
