Hello, im getting back into the sport, and need a new helmet. When I did trials about 15 years ago I used a shoei tr trials helmet, and it was great, quality design vents that worked etc. Unfortunately I put it on the end of my handlebars when checking out a section, the bike fell off its stand and punched a neat handlebar sized hole through the shell. Anyway my budget wont stretch to another shoei, so ive been looking at the airohs. They look like kryten from red dwarf designed them, but you cant have everythiing I have a few questions for you. Are the liniings removable? I would hope so, but none of the ads really say. 2nd the vents,…

Hi - has anyone fitted Pivot Pegz footpegs to a trials bike. I can see the benefit of these but as they are expensive I'd prefer to hear from anyone using them If you're not sure what I mean see www.pivotpegz.net cheers Michael

Given my looming years, tendency to fall off and inability to fix as well as I used to I'm looking at getting chest and back protection. Looking at the protectors and how they work / are formed they all seem much of a muchness apart from pricing.... the Comas one looks great and only £59.99 whereas the Jitsie appears very similar and is £95 Anyone know if there is anything glaring that the Jitsie offers over the Comas one? (or suggest another alternative) thanks

Does anyone know where you can buy the sidi trials boots that Adam raga wears ( whit, red and yellow) or if you can even buy them. Thanks

  7. Hello all. I only post this as as an apprentice funds are tight and have only managed to stretch this months wage to buy a helmet but plan on entering my first trial on Saturday. Would sturdy hiking boots jeans and a berghaus jacket be suitable to get started? Thanks Scott

  8. Hey everyone quick question. I am a newbie and have been riding for last couple of months in my 20 year old Alpinestar tech 2 moto cross boots. I bought these when i had a couple of months in my twenties when i owned a crosser before someone nicked it from my garage and that was it for me and bikes until now LOL. I been advised by other riders to get some trials boots and i like the look of the Forma adventure trial boot. Anyone got any opinions on them? i seen a fair amount of info on here about the Forma Boulders but not the Adventures. Thanks for any advice , Matt

Hi all. Enduro rider giving trials a go. I have large calves and can't find boots to fit. I'm a size 9 shoe, so a 10 boot. Just tried Gaerne Pro Balance, size 10 and 11(UK sizes) can't close the boots. I can get the straps closed, but theres the gap between the buckle side and strap side. Also very tight around the top with on half the velcro on. I'm not competing, just social play riding. Any ankle high boots I could use? Any recommendations welcomes. Thanks.

Having chunky biceps has put me in a bit of a head spin as to what's best and sizing. I have searched the posts on here going back as far as 2014 trying to find a pair that'll fit the bill. My biceps are 35.5cm relaxed, and that's measured 5cm up from my inner elbow. Who makes elbow guards that fit the bigger arms? I've heard many good reports about Jitsie elbow guards, but fear they won't stretch enough for my biceps or forearm. Their sizing chart rates them stretched at what my arms are relaxed. As I don't live anywhere near a dealer I could try them on, even after lockdown has ended. My only option is to buy online. I would really appreciate some advice on sizing from …

Hi, I've managed to buy everything I need online with the exception of a helmet. I bought one and it doesn't really fit... Deep down I knew I should have tried one on first but there you go... Anywhere near Essex that stocks trials helmets? Don't mind a little travel if it saves my bounce from head aches / smashed skull ! Any and all help would be appreciated as I'm desperate to get out on the next bike this weekend!

Hi Im looking for some trials boots but want to try them on I live in South Derbyshire and the only place I know of that sells trials boots is Leasure Trail but they only sell Hebo or Sidi. I have heard bad things about the Hebos so was thinking of the Forma Boulder I might even push the boat out and go for some Alpinstars no stops Does anyone know where I can go to try on differant makes in the East Mids at all?

Hi all I have a pair of hebo Eco boots in brown pu suede leather look. What is the best way to clean them as they tend to show mud still after washing with water and sponge. Been told to use a steamer to clean then leave to dry? Is this any good?

I'm not really into the look of the trials jerseys on offer, the MX selection is much wider. MX jerseys seem to be cheaper as well. Without wanting to come over all fashion conscious (which I certainly am not), is there a difference between MX and Trials Jerseys? Is it just the fit? Cheers,
