Heard that setting up your suspension to your weight makes all the difference! Obviously not going to make me a better rider but can't make me any worse! Can any body tell me how to do this please? 2015 4rt repsol TIA

Thinking of swapping the old PHBH for a PHBL on my 315. Am I right in saying that the PHBL airbox and inlet manifold rubbers are different sizes to the PHBH? If so do they need replacing or can the PHBL be made to fit the existing rubbers?

I understand this has been discussed before, however on my 98 cota my vertical movement has dramatically increased in a few weeks, well one trial and a day practicing, i'm not into big obstacles just novice stuff, I can now move the arm (when the wheel is off the ground) about an inch at the furthest point (wheel end), i will be stripping it down but wondered if any one has any pre-stripping ideas

Still busy putting in a couple of hours here and there rebuilding a cota 348. The old swinging arm bushes were shot so ordered a new kit with the outer and inner bushes. A very good friend of mine reamed the swing arm holes , then pressed in you bushes using a milled template of the inner and again gently reamed the inside of the bushes so the inners go in smoothly (little bit tight at the moment but I've been assured they'll soon free up!!). Question is that I have the oil tube linking both bushes with the nipples. Should I just grease them on assembly and forget the tube or oil them and fill the tube with oil as well. If so what grade of oil/grease do I need? Don't real…

Just building up a 248 bought as a rolling chassis, motor (head/barrel off) and box of bits. 1st headache. Can anybody post up photographs of the front brake, from the left and directly from the front. With the front brake assembled to the wheel and the wheel inserted into the forks with speedo drive and spacer on r/h side the brake torque sits about 10mm from the fixing lug on the fork leg. The torque arm is presently straight or flat. There is no evidence of it being straightened. However, should the torque arm be shaped in order to lie flat against the fork lug? There is a steel bush pressed into the brake plate. Is this correct? 2nd Query Really. One the main f…

I recently inheirited a 99 315r, and I am pretty excited about learning to ride trials. The little bit of riding I have done on it I feel like the bars are too low, I'm 6'4" and my bikes usually need some ergo changes. The bike currently has what appears to be an aftermarket top triple clamp with "competition clamps" engraved on it, it is for 1 1/8" bars. I can't find any info on these clamps, and I'm not sure they are even right , the first owner made a lot of goofy mods to it. I have seen clamps for the newer showas, but nothing so far to fit the older paiolis. The current bars have no marking on them at all. Anyway, I was hoping to find a taller clamp and bar set…

Just got a 2015 260 RT, couldn't believe they knocked £950 off them, anyway, I'm 6'2" tall and the bars seem a little low for me and I'm 55. Has anyway put any taller bars on or bar risers, just looking for opinions before making a purchase. Thanks.

Afternoon, Anyone know of any aftermarket way of lifting your handle bars on a 315r (1998)? It seems I'm always looking at the ground - or sitting on it but that's another story. Regards Nick.

Hey Guys, I need/want some Talon Sprockets for my 98 Montesa, I have a UFO catalogue from a friend at school, it features the Talon sprockets for both front and rear. However it confused me because in the Talon Sprockets it has lists upon lists for MX bikes with sprocket ratios, sizes and part numbers, then there is a list for 'Trials' that simply states.. Sprocket Price Front

Hi all! Trying to get the tap of my montesa tank. I have 2 8mm bolts that hold the tap to the tank. I turn either of the bolts and they just 'jump'. I need to get the tap off, but it isnt loosening off or anything. Any ideas? My guess is that the thread on the tank is...well...******. Thanks! HRC

Hi all, I've got 2020 4ride with only 100 miles on it has developed a tapping from the top of the engine. It only happens after 10-15 mins of riding when it's hot. It's most noticeable when the bike is idling and sounds like someone is tapping a spanner against the top of the engine. My 4rt has never made this noise. Before I start taking the thing to bits or starting a warranty claim, does anyone have any ideas? Could it be valve clearance? Oil not getting to the valves? Hopefully won't be anything serious with the bike being so new... Cheers Ross
