sounds like you want a trail bike not a trials bike. try the beta alp 4.0 or a Scorpa t ride.
-
-
its the 2013. I just ordered mine, don't even know the price , but having one.
Yeah, whatever...............i suppose you would rather have a Sherco. Nasty.
-
have you ridden one? if not i suggest you do before you part with your hard earned.
-
no, i agree with you , a constant trickle and a little effort keeps a bike sweet, those who know me and ride my bikes know they always feel like a "new" one.
My argument is that too may people don't, bikes become very tired and to return to a usable state where everything works renders it beyond economic repair.
These are then sold on Ebay as "needs a few jobs". unsuspecting punter who is wanting an entry bike purchases, and the cycle starts again.
-
Breakers yards!
lets be honest, some of the bikes at club trials are sheds. Who is going to repair a 2002 Sherco 250 that needs an engine rebuild, mudgaurds, and the complete set of bearings and bushes for the suspension (that it really needed at 24 months old).
Nobody, its financial disaster. Its better to sell it on Ebay and put your money towards a newer bike.
Just once i would like to have a "proper" scrutineering session at a club trial, there would be a lot of folk going home without a ride!
-
do you think it will have stopped raining by then? everything is getting cancelled! B*atsrd weather.
-
-
dont worry, it will be fine, just drive accordingly.
-
now that's a record collection, were you a confused youth?
-
yes, replace one on mine at 8 months old.
I was just entering a section, and it stopped, wouldn't believe it at first, swap all parts of identical bike to make sure, got it under warrenty so not so bad, but still................
-
the ones that get me going are the people that ask advice, then argue that's not a cure even before they try.
Neilnh. if you haven't got the answer to your problem then either;
1. there's nothing wrong with your bike , there all like that.
2. is a unique problem that nobody else has experienced
3. your describing it wrong.
if all else fails then take it to a dealer, pay the price, and don't ride a bike that you think isn't right.
-
its more boingy.
it transfers weight to the front.
it stops the rear bottoming out as much.
rear reaction is increased.
less grip in slippy conditions.
that said if your not suffering any symptoms of poor handling why bother?
-
valve clearance?
small midget with tiny hammer?
-
they're all like that, show me one that isn't!
-
try this post, worked for me on my 2010 250

there is a single bike trailer in the classifieds, 01423 code its done nothing (its not mine) its a proper trailer, very expensive when new, its someone i know whos selling up.
-
i got a Kawasaki Z400f into the back of an Austin Princess once................at about 40mph, stuck in nicely.
-
only way to do this is to find someone with the same bike and swap parts.
-
not sure where you get off with that, perhaps it was a solar flare effecting the plates in your head, but, i do tend to agree, ban 4 strokes but for other reasons, ban 2 strokes as well, we HAVE to ge electric, its the only future.
now i know this wont be poular but i couldnt give a F*** .
-
yes, last week, but they come with a "factory" drip tray
Crikey, that sounds like a bad accident, skin a knee as well?
-
4rt both.............BUT why?
-
good grief, when there's 20+ bikes in a queue on a warm summers evening in a wood, one silk cut aint gonna do much more harm is it? if your that worried about the smoke, read the warning lables on a bottle of PJ1, they make it sound like Anthrax.
-
why not go to the back of the queue instead of pushing in?
