    Verti-no-go

They seem to hold there value second hand 2017 onwards, the earlier/first models seem to be going fairly cheap , i agree that 7 thousand pounds for what is in effect the standard model is abit much compared to the 2018 sherco beta and trs models which are all around the 6 grand mark , what are you actually getting for your money ? Is the build quality, reliability, ride that much better?
  3. Sorry didnt look at the airbox stickers properly , going on the tank sticker and the plastics by the headstock its a 2005
  4. Id say looking at the tank sticker and airbox its either an 04 or an 05 model , 400ml gearbox oil , no more or it will spit it out of the breather pipe
  5. Looks like Eddie has decided to call it a day and won't be riding any more world rounds , doesnt mention anything on his press release about 2018 yet though.great shame I always enjoyed watching him, very stylish and ballsy rider unfortunately he's never really cut the mustard, probably another hard enduro convert

    2018 beta

Inch perfect are hinting at a price increase for 2018 on there website so fi could very well be on the cards

    2018 beta

It would be interesting if they where going down that route , and especially if they keep the layout the same , I really don't like the vertigo and the old ossa because all you can hear is the bike sucking air from the airfilter infront of you I think it sounds abit old fashioned

    2018 ??

Anyone heard anything? They seem to be leaving it quite late this year?
  9. I totally agree, I went to tong this year and I enjoyed it as a venue it's brilliant, good parking ,small (ish) lap ,my problem is that I stood next to the last step on section 15 because I genuinely believed that no one was going to get up it with the run up that they had etc, when most of the top ten trial gp lads sailed up it I was a mixture of amazed and a little bit disheartened, I would love to see the Spanish lads riding some of the harder sections in the ssdt ,the world championship is far too focused on how big they can go instead of technical /variety, just my 2 quids worth

    Tyres

There is a new 2017 spec irc trials tyre for sale on eBay, anyone have any experience of these yet has anyone bought one??I've had a lot of trouble with Irc's coming off the rim and not holding pressure in the past but I do like the feel of them so would be intrigued as to whether or not these are a genuine improvement
  11. I'm a fan and if I was ever to change I'd have one just because they ride well and they're different , it would be nice to see a few more around, you sound like a man in the know, any idea when the 2018 bike will be released or any pics details etc?
  12. I get that he doesn't want to fund a factory team that makes sense, but saying there projected sales figures are 1000 a year is all well and good but how are they going to get anywhere near that if they don't advertise or promote the brand, hope to see something soon and good luck to them
  13. Good question, is it me or have tyres gone ridiculously expensive ?
  14. What happened to Alfredo? He had a semi works bike , won trial 2 then retired from trial the same year didn't he? I doubt he's that bitter about it seeing as ktm probably pay him 3 times as much as what Honda where..
  15. That's brilliant! Having just converted to a 4rt myself I've bin struggling in mud so im definitely going to give that a go I'd never of thought of using the overrun to get grip

    Rear wheel drag

I think your right, I've just had another go this morning and I've noticed that it's fine until I tighten the wheel nut up , so what are you thinking fresh bearings and a new spacer in the wheel between the Bearings?
  17. hgas

    Rear wheel drag

Bearings turn freely and I forgot to mention the pads are probably ready for changing so there's plenty of free play there , lineaway you could be right the spindle could be slightly bent maybe ?

    Rear wheel drag

My 14 4rt rear wheel is really stiff when turning the wheel by hand , this is even if the chain is off the wheel has newish bearings in and everything is greased up well, when I just put the spindle through the wheel with out the brake caliper it spins freely, when I try the spindle through the caliper with out the wheel it spins freely but when I mount everything together how it should it's really stiff , anyone had this before or know where I'm going wrong??
  19. So what shape is the factory in now after all the bankruptcy stuff? is it still in gerona? Is it still owned by josep pibernat , it's a strange situation really it's as if it's a secret company with very limited publicity,if the bikes really that good why have they not got a rider on one in the world championship
  20. Factory kev???Is that a rumour ??the 2017 jotagas haven't been out that long they where released in May, seem to be very much an Italian brand now , they released a standard and a factory version , unfortunately they just don't seem to publicise things very well
  21. There's a story doing the rounds on social media that if you show your acu license at the gate you get free admission, is this true???
  22. Looking at his Instagram post he's clearly not very happy about something and is hinting at some sort of foul play? What else could he be penalised for if not time? Bike too light or too noisy maybe A complaint from a different team?
  23. It can't have bin on time because he started his first lap with 20 marks before he'd even entered a section , I've bin watching the live timings all day I'm glad someone asked the question I was confused myself

    Predictions?

Doug will be hard to beat , lots of capable lads who could do it aswell though, Jack Sheppard could be a dark horse and Ben Hemingway is always a threat ,I'd like to see brown win as I'm sure alot of others would it just seems to have never gone his way up to now, Dan Thorpe too, my predicted top 3 lampkin, brown,Sheppard
  25. I like the idea of no age limit in trial 2 , it would be nice to see some of the older guys come back in and have a go , and guys like wiggy sam haslam Jack Sheppard etc, all still very capable riders
