I'm sorry if this has been covered a hundred times before , just about to change the engine and gearbox oil on my 4rt , how much of each do I put in ?
-
Jorge casales and loris gubian
-
I think that might be the way forward ,how much lower than the 14/15 hangers are they is it a noticeable difference?
-
Very nice ?i notice alot of montesas with high rise handlebars I'm struggling on mine aswell i haven't decided wether to get 5 inch rise bars or the lower footrest hangers that come on the 16/17 models ,
-
What year is your bike? The 2011 end caps where shocking but 2012 onwards they got abit better and had an extra screw at the top to help stop them separating from the exhaust, might be worth ordering a newer one
-
Are the 16/17 hangers that much lower?? That would be a good alternative as you say , I do like the idea of a higher rise bar but there's nothing worse than the look of a bike being spoilt by a big pair of cow horns for handlebars?
-
I'm finding the standard fitted s3 bars on my 260 a little bit flat has anyone else found this in comparison to the fat bars fitted on the repsols are they any higher?I'm thinking of getting a set of the (toni bou) bend fat bars to try
-
Sorry to jump in on the conversation I've just bought a 2014 montesa (in love) how much gearbox and engine oil do I need to put in when servicing?
-
There seems to be loads of monts about these days but you never see hardly any experts riding them in trials , why is this are they just that little bit too heavy ?underpowered?not competetive ?correct me if I'm wrong but I think there's only Rob Warner that rides British championship occasionly apart from that they have no presence in the championship? ,you'd think one of the many UK dealers would get a decent lad on one to show what they are capable of
-
Haven trials sports Facebook page seems to be very active regarding jotagas ,it sounds like they are still very much alive hopefully something will come out soon
-
I'm currently on a gas gas 300 (average expert rider)I want to give beta another go having previously had a nightmare with a new beta rev3 I bought years ago I've bin sworn off them since but I've always liked evos and beta build quality, anyone else gone from gasgas to beta how did you find it i.e. Changing your riding style /finding it heavier /reliability stuff like that I'd love some feedback thanks ?
-
Are we likely to see one or is it the end of the road?? , personally I hope not as I think they're a good bike
-
obviously ragas gasgas was heavily modified and the monts look very special , I've always wondered what they do to the cabestanys sherco and the betas though???they look very standard I suppose that's part of the game though to make them look like what you can buy
-
I apologise if I've not read it properly but are they actually going to develop a new trials bike or stick with current design?
-
I'm looking at making the move next year myself , in all honestly how much different do the new 260s feel to the older bikes?? I've seen a few 2012/2013s for sale for reasonable money and I like the thought of the Showa suspension .Is it worth pushing the budget for a newer one ?
-
Did they announce who their new riders where who have signed for next year?
-
Thinking of getting my crankcases resprayed (factory replica magnesium gold flaking off everywhere) any one done this before and what did it cost them roughly? could I just take them to a local spray shop ??
-
Can't seem to find any results anywhere from this years trial? Saturdays results where up straight away I've not seen anything since, anyone know who won??
-
So could this new mystery buyer of gasgas also be buying ossa?
-
you can bet ragas trs will have the back shock ,carb, front forks and probably most of the electronics /CDi off his factory gas gas , I bet it's like riding the same bike, anyone remember the development photos of the jotagas with the gas gas engine in it? The same thing has happened again the trs sounds so much like a gassa its almost embarrassing, the vertigo was always going to have teething problems because it's completely new from the ground up , the trs isn't ,it's just a copy of an already proven set up
-
Very disappointing ,the existing design was a little bit different so why they've chucked it away and painted a scorpa blue is abit confusing, how long until they melt into one brand and come out with the sherpa!?
-
Whatever the announcement was has either fallen through or was just a load of hot air, shame really I was looking forward to hearing something I think they could be a good bike if developed more
-
So where's this big announcement then??
-
I'm a bit confused as to why repsol Honda would make a flagship model that doesn't bare the repsol name ? If your a top end spending customer surely your going to buy this instead of the repsol model which seems to me to contradict the whole point!
