    Rusty Stator

I must be old school... There are some gaskets I use grease on ,never sealant ... Glenn (but if your going to use a rubber type sealer , I believe Toyota 's Black FIPG (form in place gasket) is unmatched in most situations ...)
  4. Pete ; is just my eyes or did wiggy and the next chap both 5 the section for stopping in the turn ? or did I miss something there ....? Glenn
  5. Pick a line and ride it ! Plan where your back wheel is going to be , most times you can put your front wherever you need to one way or another , as Rosey said your back wheel gets you thru the section ! And your legs are you best suspension period .! Learn to let the bike work underneath you , while your head and shoulders stay on line ... And the SMOOTHEST rider I ever saw , Don Sweet of New England Trials Riders Fame ! Was my hero when I started out in the 70's ...! Glenn

    Air Filter Oil?

You may want to check the oil level in the gearbox ... Maybe time for main seals after sitting so long . And what fuel/oil ratio are you running ? I run a K&N air filter in mine ,But the owners manual (in italian ) does mention Bel Ray Mc6 in the air filter service section and I know that is air filter oil ! Glenn
  9. Hate to drag up a old thread ... But how are the maxtons working and what do we think about rock shocks ? I may be in the market for some new suspenders soon !!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Glenn

  20. Hi ; Being in Knoxville check out http://www.stratrials.com/ there are members in your neighborhood and they have classifieds on their site too. you maybe able to find a Yamaha TY or a Honda TL / Reflex for cheap if you just want to play in your yard . If you've got time Sunday , take a drive to Shelby NC and meet some MTR folks . We are having a fun ride tomorrow and a Ryan Young Trials school at the same location in March ...Details can be found here http://metrolinatrials.com/ Great people and a guaranteed good time !!! I'll be the grumpy old guy on a Fantic 240 pro and my youngest son may be on my Fantic trials bicycle ... But be forewarned ; Trials is ADDICTIVE !!! and it will make you a better rider in all discipline's on two wheels . In trials your hardest competition is yourself ... Glenn
  21. There is a metal insert in the airbox , so just remove the broken bolt carefully . I've mounted mine with Thin rubber spacers so the old box can wiggle just a bit , And if you want to a K&N air filter PN.E-3211 will fit the stock air box with some self adhesive rubber weatherstrip on the edges Quite comfortably ... Breathes alot better .!!! Glenn
  22. I spent most of yesterday morning listening to her on you tube... Glenn
