  1. Great trial today. Spot on new venue, thanks Weardale club for organising
  2. Are the company's problems related to motorcycle related products or MTB? Trials volume sales have fallen dramatically over last 20 years, is it now too small a market to be viable? Gas gas, jotagas, ossa, fantic, bultaco, Ajp etc its a long list.
  3. Its going to be very similar to the scorpa from what i have read on Spanish sites.
  4. Scorpa have just announced that their new bike will have this brand of fork
  5. Different views on courses are bound to exist. Lamb Shields is one of the best laps in the centre and they do three courses so ride the one for your abilty and your bike should be fine. The weardale trial earlier this year was a tough one but generally they are great trials.
  6. Turn left in the village of St Johns Chapel in Weardale, assuming you are heading west, junction is signed for Langdon Beck I think but the club will likely have it flagged.
  7. I've rode a number of Ossa's and can start them no problem. Some people can't start a gas gas pro either. I think the battery pack people add to the ossa helps but there must just be a knack to it ? Certainly wouldn't rubbish fuel injection on this basis
  8. Back to Raga he won again at the spanish championship round. All the money being spent developing bikes currently but they could just copy the gas gas design now. Timing is everything
  9. Sherco financially are doing ok though. Minimal changes year on year is an efficient way to make bikes
  10. Entries are now open for the above event which is based in the Italian ski resort of Bormio. Sections are ok but the run round the Alps each day is absolutely fantastic. Stick Tre Giorni Valtellina into Google for the regs and get yourself there. Lots of video footage from previous years on YouTube
  11. Im not the organiser of this event but you seem to be saying it wasn't promoted to people who had already entered ? And there wasn't much litter to pick up after the event
  12. Not being flippant but what do you want to promote? As i understand it each centre receives entry forms and they pick who represents them and sends the entries in. So little point advertising to any other riders as you can't ride unless you are picked by people who have been contacted directly by the organisers ? Outside of the NE centre how many people are going to miss their local trial to drive x hours to watch the inter centre ? So perhaps its been promoted to the right people directly which isn't going to be that many on this forum?
  13. Not sure who picks the date but you may have noticed that since the btc started there has been a national or world round or btc round virtually every weekend. Trials is in decline until you try and find a free date in the calendar....

  15. its only got one wheel and no handlebars but it does weigh 68kg
  16. First team starts at 10am both days. Youth Saturday / Adult Sunday. Venue is hope farm which will be flagged from the village of Longframlington in Northumberland, its on the A697 Morpeth to Coldstream. will provide final list of riders when available
  17. Picture on Facebook of a covered bike on a pick up, not sure if it was taken in uk ?
  18. Very positive Atom i hope you are correct
  19. Its being run by the North East Centre I'll try and get some information to post here
  20. from a trials point of view its more about land access / pollution / noise. Yes its a fossil fuel generating electricity, that may change in time, however compared to the national grid a few osets is nothing and that fuel is being burnt anyway. Failed logic I know but no land no trials so I can live with it
  21. Derr OTF when F1 had a refuel it was the same deal except of course they did manage to fuel the same car. All it needs is a bigger battery or a quickly detachable one. Doing a battery change on something that powerful doesn't sound like a good idea so they need a bigger battery
  22. Yes for valtellina and for Santigosa all i was asked for was a start permission from Acu, this i think is repatriation if you have an accident.
