    Very similar to gg pro design. As the filter is at the exit of the box into the carb dont worry too much about water splash in the box. As long as that box has a drain hole in the bottom and as long as you oil the filter it will be ok. Rode 2009 ssdt on a pro, very very wet week but bike never drowned
  4. I think it was no stop bikes who turned up at Sardent one year with a very trick 4rt. €20000 and they had sold some.... not for me

    Id rather it was right first time even if its late. A new bike that comes out but isn't ready doesn't help anyone
  9. Petrol tank buzzing on the frame. It should have a foam strip on the underside of the tank where it rests on the frame. If not that the head steady bracket from cylinder to frame or an engine bolt is loose
  10. The Valtellina three day in Italy only has 20 sections a day and four of those are in the paddock area. However after over 9 hours of riding on day 2 I wasn't about to ask for more. Sometimes it is enough depending on the course.
  11. There's a few, didn't realise you meant County Durham or would have replied sooner. ACU clubs are Castleside, Weardale and there's an Amca club at Stanley.
  12. That's a question for the riders not participating. The factories can't afford to send them regardless of the severity.

  14. Just thinking about my previous comments above. Bultaco going bust was a spanish economic problem compounded by SWM Fantic etc producing better bikes. But Bultaco were world champions 75 -79 , Montesa 1980, SWM 81 (?), Fantic 85, 86,88. In these years sales were much higher but world championship success didn't ensure the factories survived. I think SWM was related to employee relations but not sure, Montesa were saved by Honda
  15. I think the factories can't really afford a wtc in its current form. The limited resources they have need to be invested more in bike development and R&D aimed at customers and less on the race to finish 2 -5th in the wtc.
  16. Absolutely yes you can sell a trials motorcycle whilst having a team with poor results or not having a team at all. Yamaha mono, TYZ, Scorpa with Yam engine. All sold significant quantities of bikes . Scorpa are the odd ones out as they still went bust. Look at it this way , virtually every new trials factory enters the WTC, going back to the 70s nearly all of them go bust in the end.
  17. We are talking about a pro engine ? The hole im talking about is in the outer case of the bearing on the ignition side. This is the hole the gearbox oil flows through to lubricate the bearing. On the clutch side i think the oute side is open to allow oil in but i can't remember its been a while
  18. Left is sealed both sides but i think the right is only sealed on the crank side. You have to line up the dot on the bearing with the mark on the crankcase on the left one so the oil feed lines up
  19. Ty 350 is nikasil type bore unlike the 250. If the bore isn't worn it will be ok or get it re coated to match this piston
  20. I think that's a 2001, i had one. The 2002 had black decals on the frame, i thought the 2001 looked better
