  1. Top Marks to Dabill, what a result.
  2. From some of the pics its an indoor trial staged outdoors ? Cabby last few years has been much better indoors as it suits his style, not sure why. So this perhaps isnt so unexpected. Having one constructed section isnt so bad but i dont like to see pots of them.
  3. The only 4rt thing I have is a fuel can ?
  4. But to answer your question if the cash had been the same from both I'd have gone to Honda wouldn't you ?
  5. No not really. I don't think for a clubman the RTL was as easy to ride as the air cooled yam. But it was light years ahead of a hiro or rotax engined twin shock Armstrong. I doubt that the mono Armstrong was anywhere near as good as the Honda
  6. Yes but it was an RTL to be fair
  7. I hadn't seen it before, really good.
  8. There are a few issues with this in my mind First of all look at the age and ability range of the riders - some young riders with no fear, a few professionals and an awful lot of over 40s who will be expecting to go to work at some point the week after. Its a single route trial, by nature some sections will be too easy for the pros and other sections too hard for the clubman. Second, would you prefer they rode in the begins and stalled the bike, or rode to the foot of a waterfall and turned round ? Third how do you know those who didn't get a ride would ride every section ? Fourth If you have sections the majority don't attempt then is it the majority of riders who are wrong or the section ? Finally having bought a new bike, new gear, paid the entry fee, drove to Fort William, paid for the hotel etc etc, why should a clubman put himself out of the trial on Monday before lunch at Blackwater or Grey Mares by hurting themselves or their bike on a section the majority are going to five anyway ?

No Chance Ham2, just providing a little perspective
  10. if its a 2t Beta the piston has nothing to do with blue smoke, sorry. is the bike using gear box oil, are you having to top it up ? Blue smoke may just be a clogged exhaust or the crankshaft oil seals are gone or the centre gasket is leaking. just check the oil level , run the bike for a couple of hours and check it again. if the oil level is constant in the gearbox then its not burning gearbox oil.

Gas Gas Factory Editions, previously called Raga Reps were over £6k ? Great bikes but no FI ? How much is a repsol rep 4RT ?
  12. Check fork bushes and seals ?
  13. You seriously expect us to think you apply GT85 when pubs will be open ??

So last bikes left the factory jan / feb last year and this has just caused a problem now ? Surprised the magnetic flywheel and vibration didn't just pull the stator off straight away.
  16. Billy if they make it buy one if its what you want its your choice. Im just answering your original question. Kenichi rides one ? Well so what hes probably getting paid to
  17. Yes i think the bankruptcy is the old company name Jotagas not Jgas
  18. baldilocks replied to hannon's topic in TRS
I think Jotagas is bust Jgas isn't?
  19. Rode a 4t scorpa, It wasnt a patch on a Beta 4t or a Montesa. The motor is enormous compared to a 2t. Nice decals and thats about it. How many of those people wanting one of these bought the scorpa ?
  20. Try scorpa or ossa websites, oh sorry they never bothered either ?
  21. Having done this before and had to push the bike back to the van im just giving advice based on experience. Get the tyre changed under warranty its not fit for purpose
  22. Fitting a tube is a bad idea, when the tube inevitably slips the valve can damage the rim. Also if you get a puncture in a trial you can't use a dog turd
  23. In my experience putting a new piston into a worn cylinder never pays. Its usually noisy again in a matter of weeks. Get a new piston and get Langcourt to re coat the cylinder to the new piston. Its an extra £120 but its a much better end result
  24. I think you are yes. If the front tyre was defective then you have a case but you don't if its just because its not the same brand as the rear.
