  1. Just done mine this saturday morning (fork seals and oil) for mot. Wish i'd of known your delemer I would of measured them ! If you are looking to get a size for the cir'clip and the forks are still on the bike, Just carefully remove the dust seal and push up the seal away from fork leg then get a vernier caliper and measure the internal diameter of the fork seal housing , this will give you the cir'clip size . As cir'clip sizes are given in housing diameter not size of circlip diameter when open !!!! (if you get my drift) So just measure the inside diameter of the fork leg tops and ask a bearing supplier to get you a cir'clip for this size. Job done.
  2. I Just hope i don't happen upon anyone steeling my bikes, either home or work ! i've done all I can security wise but believe me if I catch them at it,,,,,, God help them ! (Then see how the police react) I've actually given up on the police in Greater Manchester to be honest as had 3 very unrelated incidents lately involving the police and if I run my company like the police run theirs I would of gone bang a long time ago ! So In my opinion,,,,,,Cameras up (linked to your mobile), Chains on bikes (through frames),Steel posts on doors. But best advice is keep your bike hidden when transporting/washing/servicing as there is always someone watching you. Don't have nightmares..... just be careful with your bikes . As theft of off rode bikes is relatively easy game at the moment, or it seems to be !
  3. If you got access to a lathe it looks a simple job to make a new one . Give it a go , If you local to me Bury UK I could make you one if your struggling. Craig.
  4. Absolutely gorgeous bike a lot of effort to sort I would amagine ! love to have a go ! Think its been bored out to 270cc as well (think ive read somewhere) ? NICE !
  5. Had CCTV footage of my 4x4 stolen at work, thieves got in (whilst I was in my upstairs office) one weekend. Police came round to take a statement and asked if I could make a copy of CCTV and burn it to disc , he would come round the next day to pick up ! Guess what ?????? Still got disc and never came round (after ringing them three times) ! Pity really as thief could be seen on film ! In my opinion, good deterrent but bugger all use if the police are to busy or not bothered to take action ! Craig.
  6. Hi jontribe. I've just started again after giving up at 18 (1985) due to, girls, booze and cars etc.......It never left me though and now at 4o odd years ! i've started again, thinking it would be a breeze (even though i've had road bikes all my life). Believe me pal its not and you have to put the practice in ! It all comes back but its not that bloody simple ! and the body hurts the day after ! But all said I love it so much and maybe after a few more practice sessions might have a go at a comp ! Cheers and good luck , Craig.
  7. Cool vid Guys, Cheers buddy.

  11. Hi Baldilocks, Had custom sport 6 months now, dont know about trafic or transporter as allways had Fords. I absolutely love mine, my mates just got a new audi Q3 quattro and my van has got more electrical gadgets in it (standard spec) . Brilliant to drive , very comfy to drive long distance, real time around town, bobbin about mpg 34 MPG. In the back size wise you can get an 8 ft x 4 ft sheet on floor detween the wheel arches. Dont know if you seen it but type in.. "Fifth Gear S23 E16" on youtube (8mins in) Tiff tests the new transit. So Very Happy with mine Ford spent millions developing this van and it shows. Craig.
  12. Shoot me down,,,,,! But i'm sure 15 years ago I had a dabble with a sherco and asked that question on here, but I recollect someone suggesting a mod for this was putting silicone around the disc collars ????? Or am I dreaming ? But I'm sure someone said "This was a mod" ? Anyway just started learning trials again and got myself a 315r with "loose discs" I just run it now with no problems. Craig.

  22. Hi, The workshop is (was) near my Mum and Dads in Walkden Manchester, about 2/3 years ago they built a brand new building with new fancy Norton -Villiers Sign ! next door to the old one and moved into the new building and sold their old building..........Then after about six months started pulling the new building/factory down (to the ground) and have never heard or seen anything of them, since. Very Very odd, the whole thing, as was going to pop in and have a chat ! Craig.
