Unbelievable how long it all goes on and how much money is wasted in the process. Just think what that money could have been used for.The UK was heading for a recession no doubt but what happened in the USA dragged us down big time. Lets hope the new bloke can walk the walk as well as he talks the talk. I bet they don't cover our elections for 1% of the time we covered theirs. Unbelieveable, glad it is over.

There is a 3 way adjustable clutch lever you can buy that enables you to play about with adjustment, or if you fit an arm from a 08 ttr they say it is an improvement. Easier to fit the lever though. Available from Trial and trail.

"THEY" reckon the 240 pro is the muts nuts out of the crate twinshock, not much needed.

The V dub crowd love these, its the mk 1 front end. There is a caddy forum, look it up some nice trucks on there. Lots of kids with no money as well. Tried to convince myself I could do with one then had a reality check, its not happening

Getting better, the spelling was better in 2nd post. The big fella doesn't like text talk.

Yes Peter Gaunt rode one in the 1973 Scottish. A few were converted and they were known as Jeffries Hondas. The frame head angle was altered the bottom frame tubes removed and engine was lifted in the frame and bash plate added and a shortened swing arm was used to alter the wheel base. Also the carb was changed from30mm to 26mm Amal. They were quite successful back in the day. I wonder if there are any survivors ??? All this info is in the book "Four stroke finale" The Honda trials story, there is a copy on the bay at present currently at around

My entry is in, anyone else on here doing the Chadney on Sunday. I have spread the word to the Worcester crew.....

It went for 3k in the end... Bargain ??? I rode one at a trials school briefly and was impressed. Too good for me though.

Bill Pye is the Fantic guru I believe. 01642 722378
I was observing at a road trial last week and talking to a mate when it went quiet we just mentioned that there are a few Fantics about when 6 came down to my section at once, couldn't believe it.

Re the Miller rounds, I found some info on it just by googling it about classes etc. Sorry I can't do a link. There are a few on here from Brum area, Woody knows his onions up that way.And he's got a BSA. Cheers.

There is another one on there now, Be quick they are pulling sales if they get the right offers.
-
Still there sorry can't do the link.

It's not in TMX (Chadney trial)nor the regs aren't on ACU website. Is it still on or are the WVAC lads still p***ing it up at Longtown ??
-
There is a rs 200 in large pieces not complete on the bay now.

Hey Malc how much did you drink in the pub last night. I get some good ideas and Pitley does when we hit the sauce.
Mind you Pitleys idea of running a certain trial was fuelled by Strongbow I am certain of that, but it worked. So you never know... ???

Thanks for that. Rest assured there's no chance of me winning an award.

Glad to see everyone was happy. I had a hectic time observing at 7 and 8 the double sub and then moved on to 33 later in the day, more laid back there as things had slowed down and bikes and riders spread out. I actually enjoyed observing and changing sections helped. (promised Pitley I would observe since it was on the drawing board) See some good riders and some nice older bikes. Didn't get much time to speak to many but I did speak to Geoff Muston who assured me his TL125 was still 125cc and then he went on to win his class on the Alt route. Excellent. And Jon Bliss remembered riding my double sub in the 60s, when riding a cub.
Is Malcra doing a report on it

I wouldn't be without mine, kin good they are. Some of the struggling classic clubs want the a/c monos nowadays, come on down I say.
-
Would a Scorpa 125 longride( a/c mono) pass as a trailbike in the Miller round trials fitted with working lights. Thanks in advance.
-
On the same trial there was one called Darkie. I was observing at the sensibly named Blackhill Farm 7 and 8 double sub then later in the day 33 at Mynydd Ferddin.

-
I will be on the 3rd group observing, same as Stu looking forward to it also. Should be a good day, Pitley has worked his a*** off for this. Good luck, see you there.

No disrespect to those that do it but it is one of the reasons I don't buy YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE anymore. Like skateboarding I think they could have their own mag. Good to watch though but not many move on.

How many entries now Pitley. Should be a good day( as long as I find my sections to observe)
See Mikes still on the chip oil.
