  1. Sorry to steer this thread back on to its subject, but I have got a spare TC sticker that I will put on our club banner at the Malvern show. Never know it may bring in a few punters. Perhaps put them on the table at signing in time at trials etc, maybe some allready do it ??????
  2. Classic tv, better than the c**p on there nowadays. Bring it back I say.
  3. Lots of unscrupulous people out there, lots of rubbish about and ebay is the easy option to sell. I bid on a Vito van and when I went to collect it I reckon the pic used was taken 2 yrs previous, and I ended up with neg feedback because I would not buy the van. I think its had its best days. Some things still do well on there. Look at Magical Micks old helmet and the Alta Suzuki, but these are rare things. Run of the mill stuff is starting to creep back on to free websites and papers and mags as they are cheaper to advertise in. Ebay are greedy and of course they own Paypal. Buyer beware
  4. This is a good one it could run for a while, if "THEY " come out of the woodwork. When the ones who do the working parties are out do you find like me the same old same old out there and at setting out time. They think they are doing the club a favour by joining but after paying to join thats it THEY think they have done their bit ?????? HEREFORDSHIRE CLASSIC TRIALS CLUB. TREASURER. OFTEN OBSERVING. And listening to whinging people about "MONO'S. (Rant ober)
  5. I dont think it will be 10 or 15 years re the Pinky. It is not long coming. Its finding the right un molested example, the sort of example Big John has. Pitley has a good one also and does well on it against modern bikes. I had a 270 and it was not the best so it had to go. I will wait and have another when I see the right one for sale.
  6. The Alta Suzuki went from
  7. Word is that it will not be long before they start to charge for SORN as well.
  8. I could have done with one of those 40 years ago, I may be a half decent rider now.

    Mozzilla

I have noticed a change but did not realise it was due to Mozilla. I have to click on responses to thread articles individually to read/ stack them up etc. I dont think it was the case when I first started using Mozilla a few weeks ago though???? PS I have Firefox??
  11. Looks like DT250 MX motor maybe as didn't the swingarm bolt go through the motor, maybe a 175 swingarm. I have a pic here of another TY250 Mick is riding JGF 729N is the reg and it is twinshock and they are laid down fairish. White bike with Big red stripe on the tank. Photo is titled Monarch of the Highlands. 1975 at the Cellart Falls section in the SSDT. The World of Motorcycles is the title of the book. PS Pitley get bidding on that lid, its only money and you cant take it with you
  12. Does anyone here know anything about Big John wax cotton clothing. It seems to be a copy of Belstaff and made in the UK. Thanks in advance
  13. Look on ebay there is a helmet that once belonged to Magical Mick Andrews. Item no 160076809764. We are trying to judge if there are any other interested parties on here as its approaching 40 quid and fellow TC user Pitley wants it to wear on his Majesty. He will probably need a blonde wig as well, as like me time has not been kind to him where hair is concerned. (As a coot) He will be gutted if it goes for silly money.
  14. For a daytime MOT I believe that you need a horn, a rubber pushbike type is ok according to my MOT station where I go(audible means of approach) a working speedo, and a red reflector on r mudguard. Obviously all brakes suspension tyres and all the rest needs to be up to scratch. Visit UKMOT.com to read more.

  16. Its not just me that thought Miller employs a miserable bunch then. I only told our new mate to go there as he was under the impression the other bloke didn't do seats. I'll get me coat.

Got my first ACU licence recently, only rode AMCA events before. I didn't realise I was going to get a book as well.

    4rt Doesn

I don't think it will be long before some one decides to fit a carb on a 4RT.
  21. "How much is it worth" she said. Priceless. BRILLIANT.
  22. MOBILE PHONE = TRACKING DEVICE=THIN END OF THE WEDGE.
  23. I noticed used ones have been fetching big money on ebay recently. Slung mine years ago, too small
  24. Has anybody on here had to date a Seeley for registration purposes. If I want to date a Yamaha I know to write to Yamaha and obtain a letter. But who sorts it out to register a Seeley. Luckily my Seeley is registered, I am enquiring for a mate who wants to register his bike. With the bike being made in such a small number I wonder who has the relevant info. Thanks in advance. PS What after market shocks do you find work well on a Seeley. Thanks
