  1. In my opinion, sections I find frustrating are of an often unnecessary length (GPS to get to the end) which also inevitably causes lengthy queues and also complexity of markers often where there are upto 4 routes through one section (usually created by blind panic out of control which way do i go, is that a yellow or green marker). Bottlenecks are inevitable in any trial but when its every section it becomes a joke and does unfortunately remove some of the pleasure. I've done my share of CofC, "luckily" when all trials had 1 route.....! (showing my age now!!) Andy
  2. I've run honda 4 strokes for a couple of years, seems to be a characteristic of 4 stroke motors from other people i've spoke to. Check the accelerator pump in the carb is working ok - it gives a small squirt of fuel from tickover to help this problem. It's quite a fine jet and i've had mine get blocked before now.
  3. We're running a set of red ones on team graffics bikes.... can't fault them at all Andy
  4. Hey Mark, there is a photo of me in action on their web.... managed to catch me with me feet up!! All being well will be at their next trial, enjoyed the last one, I thought it was well laid out. Others locally recently have been a bit 'complex' with the section marking out and long which meant lots of queueing and just too much for my fading memory to remember..... Prob give theirs a miss next time. bike still sweet as a nut. Best thing I ever did getting the new motor. Andy
  5. Andy, count me in and to provide some beers as per last year. Andy FIVE
  6. If anybody has a spare copy if issue 2 they're willing to part with in exchange for stickers / cash i would be grateful (its somewhere in the house but can't find it anywhere) Andy
  7. Alas this one does get muddy... now i've an engine that works every time then need to get some return on my investment!!

there's 3 being ridden this week, one by narita, one by the development rider & one other (don't know rider). Didn't appear to be any probs starting when we saw them on day 1 & 2. Nice & quiet also. One or two of the Mont's are loud....

    Sanz !

thought she looked more confident this year than last when we saw her on monday
  13. Jon's number at cotswold motorcycles is 01242 239055. Speaking from experience, its been a labour of love and cost 3x as much as I ever expected to graft a honda 4stroke motor into a 'modernish' chassis. Few things you might want to think about:- a. carburetor - on the honda is slightly offset to the right of the engine normally exactly where the frame spar is. Aircleaner also. b. gearbox sprocket alignment c. height of the motor (interference with tank/frame and/or loss of ground clearance)- careful cos it may be engine out to adjust valve clearances. d. honda engine costs especially TLR (i've been quoted
  14. sorry forgot to mention that they're not on an RTL but drop steve at trialcast an email with the dimensions of your footrests and i'm sure he will sort something out for you.
  15. I've used the trialscast.co.uk footrests for best part of a year now and still really pleased with them.
  16. Just when you thought we were fading away... we're not!! Check out our new website and keep watching for new developments....
  17. BS - The drugs are totally holistic - its called being a dutiful father and dedication to your chosen sport... its only 3.5 hours on a sunday... which generally gives just enough time to wash the bike before bed!! Strong coffee helps tho...
  18. I'll be heading back to Dorset after the trial so can drop him at the airport no problem.
  19. Not sure whether this helps or not but in the past where I've had a trials bike and not known the exact amount I've used 200cc per fork leg as the starting point. Hopefully somebody here will be a bit more specific!! Andy
  20. See you there Andy. I'll be wobbling around hopefully between the markers...!!
  21. I've converted a few pictures like this for t-shirts & banners. Just done one from a mobile phone pic which looked great in white on a t shirt.
