  1. Good to see some exclusives on TC building up to Monday's start...
  2. picked one up at telford, looked like a lot of the material had already been in print previously. One to add to the collection. Lots of pics from last years ssdt. Lots of jotagas and gasgas pics. Reminded me a bit of the old tmx yearbook.
  3. I bought them off ebay, just did a search on magura clutch lever and compared to the original. Pretty sure its the one with the integrated adjuster
  4. Mine broke too so I attached a nylon loop to the nipple on the end of the cable and I just pull that when I start from cold. I think the magura clutch is the same as the ones on the KTM's as I've bought replacement levers for KTM's and they fit perfect (and are cheaper)

    Tlm 260

Maybe this will help find a piston similar? Good luck
  6. I was picked on when a speeding ticket arrived through the letterbox. Every day I see hundreds of people blatantly speeding yet they chose to pick on me...
  7. Guess it ultimately comes down to choice. There are other domestic championships in europe that could be contested if this is such a 'bad' championship. I'm no expert and clearly its not a great way to end the season but I'm not detecting much sympathy either from the posts i've read. The measure of success is truly personal preference. Clearly there are a number of informed people who view the championship as a success in the same way there a number of informed people who view it as unsuccessful. It would appear that this year has thrown different podium winners into the mix and larger entries into the championship class than previous years. Surely that has to be good for the sport?
  8. They say size isn't everything... Try one which has been sorted (exhaust, gearing etc) you may be surprised...?
  9. I think the Rieju 200 engine is watercooled and based on the latest WR/YZF 125 motor. I would be surprised if there was any major change to the current engine. I'm not even sure the randonne motor is the same as the yam engine which is in the scorpa sourced from brazil. I think most of the Yam YBR clones (maybe randonne also) are Zhongdu (spelling??) I did see somebody on ebay recently selling 150 big bore kits.
  10. Placed the order on the 27th but haven't heard anything since nor received any tickets. Maybe its just a bit early?
  11. I've never really thought about doing the mod to the clutch - does it really make much difference and how difficult is it to do? Andy
  12. The piston dimensions are pretty unique.. I've not been able to source anything even remotely close. Closed I've got is a piston from a chinese quad but even then the pin to piston crown height is 1mm short and that takes a 125 to c. 140cc. I've looked at most makes and models without success. If you find something i've missed, please let me know and good luck! Andy
  13. Think most people are running the exhaust mods and carb jetting changes. Small gearbox sprocket seems to be personal choice. I have a high rpm cdi but doesnt feel a lot diferent and a titanium front pipe which just looks nice. Some people re work the clutch actuator and the flywheel weight, neither of which i've done. Hope this helps Andy
  14. I'm similarly challenged re (trials) helmet, I have an airoh rock which although took some time to 'wear in' now is comfortable. However, I've always found shoei road bike helmets to be a great (and only) fit and I've now acquired a shoei trials helmet which is again a great (and much better) fit straight out of the box. Andy
  15. YBR & XTR pretty much the same as the scorpa
  16. Picture of him on the sherco from TC report
  17. Looks very very similar to the 125 Yamaha engine. Bore and stroke identical. This engine is fitted to lots of bikes and is also manufactured in china by Jianshe YBR125 & variants Basically, same motor as the scorpa 125, Yamaha TTR, XT & YBR. Spares shouldn't be a problem. Maybe a scorpa 125 front pipe will fit? Andy
  18. I've done the fork seals on the 125 without dropping the fork legs. Be careful with the dust seal as they're mega expensive to replace...
  19. From Wikipedia... "Succ
  20. What about thumb operated brake? Seems to be a few set-ups available on road bikes Andy
  21. Always better to find a builder if there's common ground... looking to put an extension on. PM me if you are or know of a builder. Thanks Andy
