Hey Cope or should I say Mr Hill (Hank). It is not my physics but Scottish physics No, no carb change yet, just lots of fine tuning of the carb, lots of detailed work on the inlet and out let. Dumping the go cart fuel pump, etc etc. Ask Mark Hubbard he tried my bike in Austin Mmmmm Still not perfect but a hell of a lot better Looking forward to seeing some old (realy old ) faces. The bike is running sweet now but is still a 4T (ask Steve D) Carb problems sorted out, amazing what can be done once the jets are in stock The jetting changes to get it running sweet are ?????????? The changes to the carb outlet boot are ?????????? PS: Did you notice that Beta offer a thinner gasket (in their race parts) for the 125cc to help boost torque just as I mentioned a while back to a reader who wanted more bottom end on a 125cc Cheers Billy 2T

Are you refering to Phoenix AZ. Or a Pheonix as you have spelled that may be in a different place? If it is Phoenix AZ it is mostly rock and more rock. Other parts of AZ has trees, rocks, mud etc Cheers BillyT

Fire the brake cleaner thru the supplied straw. Direct it at the area suspected. Hardly enough to damage any parts or rubber. Hell, people spray cleaner over disc brakes in huge amounts, not condoning that but the small amounts need to test for carb air leaks is negligble. How water works boggles my mind You want the venturi effect to pull any liquid into the stream water will only do that if it is dripping in as it is heavy. Any flammble liqiud will cuase a sudden lean condition indicating a leak. Water will tend to settle cleaner will stay supended in the air being drawn into the carb. The only way water could possible work if it was in a VERY fine mist and stayed atomized. VERY small amounts in a controlled direction are required. Lets say there is a leak, the cleaner will burn up the water will cuase problems of its own exabirating the intial problem Cheers BillyT

WD40 You are supposed to be using contact cleaner or brake cleaner. Not saying that an air leak is your probelm, BUT if you are testing in that manner at least use the correct liquid! Cheers BillyT

Hi Leggins My wife is from Winnipeg so I get to go back there to visit (unfourtunatly). The "Take Five" club has not exsisted for over ten years now. They got into a big fight after the Rennie world round and all went their own way. No trials what so ever there now! Gary, Francois etc are all doing other things now.
