  1. Put a 300 on my sherco with low comp really nice
  2. I don't know what you get off on for sure but fyi I am on holiday in the states and had no idea whether dougie was or wasn't there, assumed he was as it was announced he would go, but not being in the results I wanted to know one way or the other. Get your facts straight if you want to criticise, muppet. Back on topic its a shame that Dougies influence is being used to the benefit of a spanish rider as clearly our lads could do with the help?
  3. no stop wont work unless the sections change. The introduction of the 1 minute per section was a disaster last year as the sections were not altered to suit, the whole thing needs to be properly overseen.
  4. Pretty sure Alexz is still in the UK, I'm not though not in japan but as the beaver once said one could turn up and get a few points, although japan usually has a few more home riders just to correct myself mid sentance!
  5. the whole sherco tank in airbox place and vice versa is a mystery to me as the airfilter doesnt work that well anyway! I would comment that the 2012 has an in-line tap so draw your own conclusions. If the tank is more than about 1/4 full it doesnt need the pump mostly anyway, another mystery. What may help is to establish the float level is right and the needle valve is all working as it should. Dellortos were always good when I leaned mine over although the bowl may be overfilled this should not translate into non starting. If laid over for a minute or two try 2 different techniques first no throttle then full open?
  6. clean the points and check for spark again.
  7. I think anyone who "knows" whats going on should get themselves down to Aston Tirrold aka seymours arena and see for themselves. Having been with Alexz this very afternoon regardless of his injury he has pledged to ride at the North Berks event even if he isn't 100% fit. This will be his first event since injuring his ankle some 3 weeks ago. Rest assured that wiggy will be giving it his best and is only too glad to support Stuart Robinson and his hard working team at this excellent event.
  8. Ironmonger? Whats that? Think we forget how useful these guys were but all we have for miles here is B & Q!
  9. don't need lights for mot.
  10. you stated in your very first post it was a good sized market so i thought you knew what you were talking about. championship points are available on the fim website if you need that information. if you want disscussion and argument on a subject then post, but why moan when this happens in a forum? Do you want everyone to agree with you?
  11. Is the cost worth it? Betas sold in japan how many? perhaps you know the answers better than beta?
  12. Perhaps if the entrance at places like scotland wtc is
  13. im sure the secretary wouldn't mind if you called as you are making arrangements like that.
  14. cabestany has said hes not going are there any others not?
  15. it is usually not over subscribed I would think you will get an entry Perce will be along soon I'm sure. Where are you flying in from?
  16. were any of those sections the same for both classes? The fact that the prize had something to do with jake (sheppards manager?) would have nothing to do with it ?
  17. but if you take the top 80 think about the sections you would need to take 1 mark off Dibs, maybe 0/.5 off bou raga, wtf would the bottom 10 loose-all 5's surely? there are not 80 riders in the btc so you would be way down the skill set. Trials hasn't changed much at the bottom even if we started out now on a modern bike the marks you loose are the same as I did on my bultaco back in the 70's, what has moved on is the ability to get up stuff that even 5 years ago would have been thought impossible. From my experience and you can check this out what has also happened (scotland may be the exception) but there are not too many sections where Raga and Bou in particular "loose" marks if its possible to ride it they clean it

    TR 280

wonder why fajardo asked for 5 at the last section in scotland frame problems? does the engine have to come out for the fuel pump? Do the back wheels have bearings or bushes?
  19. I agree, but do you think anyone in the uk other than the top 3 could cope with the top route? As only one italian gratterola and one french gubian ride who are these riders? Not an attack on your comment at all.
  20. Gomez is older than wiggy and has missed out again last year with jack challoner so despite an hrc bike he hasn't done the buisness. Will win more by default same as sheppard. Despite the rule change for Pol Tarres he wont beat him this year. Moret is a nice lad but will not win anything.
  21. Agreed. I was saying that the bsb is self funded. ACU is not doing enough to promote trials period. When Sam haslam Alexz ross rob crawford fry wibberly(and more) were doing the youth wtc it looked great for britain but now only shepard is there and he is nearly at the age bou started on the top route. What seems to happen is that we get a few through but either through lack of support guidance training or ACU federation truck and support, all our lads seem to peak and fade away. It does happen in Spain aswell Gibert oliveras france bethune etc but to get further up seems a problem. The younger lads from wiggy downwards have an excellent chance to make it through as they will be 25 when bou is 30 raga 33 and cbestany 34, so the oppurtunity beckons for them all.
