  1. Rules do not make hard trials c o c do. I think no stop in southern centres during the wet winter months can lead to "flexible" observing.
  2. To be honest it doesn't matter about real money just some would help some to get there and maybe increase numbers?
  3. FIM site has it as a one day event now whats the score anyone know?

    TR 280

sounds like a cheap house to me!
  5. It is a no brainer to me if there are two events, much the same as the normandale champs it is worthwhile with the effort and expense. If you can work it that it is out of season giving cheaper boats then all the better.
  6. I'm not sure you understand that for japan gueatemala (sp) and probably Aus the total number of riders is only going to be 25/30, even with minders thats 60 rooms, that is not prohibitive surely. After all whilst bou raga and maybe 4/5 others will be paid to go the remaing riders in all classes will pay to go to the states to put on a show where you can sell tickets. Don't get me started on who should pay for the fim guys!
  7. where are the wires from the stator? originally under sump have they been moved?
  8. OOOH don't say that, minders galore! Thought isle of man was getting one?
  9. So with an aerosol and the muppet wristband you will be riding like toni?
  10. A kehien worked much better than a dellorto on my 2011.
  11. pretty much, arms can wear aswell but the old ally is usually well worn.
  12. the pivots wear eccentrically, and by bushing the pivots will really help with the brake action and effiecency (sp).
  13. In case you didn't know it there are not many trials riders who belong to teams with $100 miillion budgets. Bigger than the problem of if the USA has a round or not is the situation where only 10 riders compete in the WTC and its dwindling. Clearly the crossover is expensive or else there would be Americans and australians competing in the wtc more often. the fact that it costs to put up fim officials and entourage is holding back offers of someone willing to stage a USA wtc. But there would be very few (if any) in a few years time who are willing or in these recession times able to afford to go around the world to finish tenth 11th and so on. The fim is based in switzerland, so who are their riders?
  14. its about time the fim had a reality check and got these rounds sorted, its either a world championship or not. having rounds in Aus and japan and hopefully usa is great and necessary, but how are the riders without factory support supposed to afford it?
  15. Stupid little things like reducing steering stops to the max, shortening the clutch cable to tangent pull etc will make the bike more rideable.
  16. What we used to do was weld a bit up and pack a bit more, as the packing always seems to get blown out over packing seems ok. Without a doubt any bully lover will be able to tell one that sounds sharpe and one thats repacked and softer on the ear. I had a standard 340 modified by reg back then and I am sure it was better.there is definately more movement at the back and as woody says with todays shocks they are better anyway. There is better clearence for muddy trials and the steering is sharpened a tad so yes if time permits its worthwhile. However as far as bultacos and 340's perhaps more than any other its meticulous and sensible upgrades which make a good bike rather than just a better swinging arm set up.
  17. Go to a dealer who cares what service they provide?
  18. your issues are possibly because you do not have the paperwork from the importer I would guess.
  19. confirmed laia to gg on every other website.
  20. If section viewing is your criteria then the Nord Vue venue is supreb all sections within say 200 metres?
