I finally got my C15 together. Thanks to those on the forum that provided input. So...what should it run like? I need to do some more tuning and I have never ridden a TL125 but it runs like a TL125 sounds. It is super smooth and pulls smoothly and strongly from very low rpms but does not respond quickly. It takes lot of effort to lift the wheel 1/2 foot. (Bultaco front end/ wheel with steel BSA tank) It has the standard cam, big valve/ small port head, Kehin 22 mm carb and an ignition with no advance...set at full (I believe). 18 tooth motor sprocket, 13 tooth trans sprocket and 54 on the rear. I was expecting some quicker response like a TLR200.

I have a long term project on the go at the moment a C15. Was up the shed tonight and done a dry build on the rolling chassis, seems like I will have to increase the ground clearance as its quite low about 9",not very good. The frame is standard, front forks are standard,What is the best length of rear shockers to fit to help with the ground clearance. As I said its a long term project as I'm enjoying riding my 250 Scorpa and learning every trial I do.Any other advice would be much appreciated. cheers the noo Brian

I'm currently putting together a Villiers 32a engine to go in the James frame, when it eventually arrives , and i've got to sort out the ignition. Now i've got a PVL on the B40 and am most impressed but i dont know what is the best system to fit on the Villiers engine so was wondering if anybody had any experience of them. As usual heard different stories about the systems on offer so which is the best? I cant afford to buy a system only to find that it's not up to scratch or unreliable. Oh yes dont know if it matters but i've got an Alpha full circle crank with a std Villiers taper fitted. Havent got a flywheel yet as i thought it might depend on the type of igniti…

For once, everything organised for the Manx Classic- ferry booked months ago. Had a letter this morning- Steam Packet Co has 'revised' our sailng times due to 'ongoing technical problems with the vessel'(really inspires confidence about even going!) Now we arrive just in time for signing on - providing the boat's not delayed/breaks down, effectively losing nearly a day. If thats not bad enough, try contacting them, you just sit in a queue for hours, on a national rate call, adding to their profits. E mails ignored of course. Has anyone got any sense out of these cowboys?

Hi all, The old boy wants me to help him sell his Tiger Cub, or at least see what it's worth. I'll have a piccy or two soon, but since I know diddly squat about pre-65 trials bikes, I thought I'd post here. What are these things worth?, and where's the best place to try and sell it. Here's the spec. 1962 Tiger Cub Sport, partially converted to Trials - i.e. it has a single seat, trials bars, trials alloy mudguards. Has 20" wheels front and back, have new 18" rear and 21" front tyres. Original engine and frame. Any help appreciated. Ian.

Here's something just a little different. One of our Club members John Cart, has just finsihed rebuilding a Triumph Metisse, it is a 1963 bike which was fitted from new with a 1953 alloy barrel 500 twin motor. Here is a video of it's first ride in well over 15 years. John tells me that it is the exact model as used in the Great Escape film, he plans to use it at Red Marley on Easter Monday.
