OK, I've looked everywhere, here, FIM, WorldtrialsInfo and I can't find the Spanish round results. Any clues?

Having just returned from the Spanish Round of the WTC, feeling very satisfied at the performance of the British riders, I thought I would give some of my thoughts on the event. Both days competitions where to put it mildy, exceptionally tough. The torrential rain on the Saturday evening making the sections look impossible never mind cleanable. When you see the likes of Raga amd Fujigas taking a five rather than attempt a section then you know its difficult. The new one minder rule did not, in this round, lead to a reduction in the severity of the sections. The odd mattress being strategically placed to catch a falling rider, bike, minder or all three. Luckily enough the…

Team selection for GB? Price and Martyn, with no Dabill... If i didn't know better it would nearly look like the X-trial organisers chose that team

Woke up a couple of times last night and it has been raining for nearly 8 hours, a complete contrast to Saturday. Should be an interesting day!

Noted from the results that positions 12th,13th & 14th only managed one 3 each, 15th finisher a full house of 5,s. Still all scored world championship points!

Whats the worse case of blatant cheating, whether its gardening or anything else, people have witnessed at a WTC round or indeed any other trial. You don't have to name names but it would be a lot more interesting if you did.

Ok, so Raga won today.good for him but...... If he was to win tomorrow where does Bou need to finish if Raga was to win the title ?

  9. Started by mattylad,

Seen on a french and italian site that it's happened. No news on scorpa site..... why??? If you had just signed your number 1 rider to ride your brand new bike I would have thought it merited at least a small announcement. Maybe I should go into PR!

Check out the time frame between 1 minute 1 second and 1 minute 4 seconds. Watch closely as the minder clearly grabs Bou's front forks and then Bou dabs and the minder quickly pulls away. Then try to watch the observer score the thing. Watch as his hand is closed, then slowly opens to what looks like a five, then quickly just holds up one finger. What do you think Bou actually score on his card? You make the call.

Fair enough the indoor series seems to be taking a bit of (deserved) criticism and does not have the prestige or interest it used to have in this country. Probably the blame lies with the Dis-Organisers Octagon, the fact its almost become a Spanish domestic championship and the expected last minute changes. But I would like to wish Dougie the best of luck, on this the eve of the 2007 series. After all he is representing Great Britain. Go Dougie!!!

Just reading this article and thought it a bit weird that Freixa would ride a Raga replica, sort of like Fuji riding a Dougie special? It also looks like he will be landscaping the sections for Raga in his quest for the World title!

  13. Started by cota kid,

The results are posted on www.worldtrials.info 1 Raga 14 2 Lampkin 18 3 Cabestany 23 Sounds an exicting one, went to the final section.

Ive been to hundreds of trials over the last 20 years and i have never had to pay to see it. Eg Belfast x 2 free, Isle of Man free. British trials for the last 3 years. Even in France they are free. Just because i live in Yorkshire it doesnt mean i am tight.

After viewing the recently posted video of the Zaragoza indoor trials, Toni is wearing a different verison of the Alpinestars trial boots. The back of the boot has a longer flex panel then the present boot. Is Alpinestar releasing a new improved trials boot?

Montesa HRC's 2007 team must be the strongest factory team, but arguably the Lampkin, Fujigas, Freixa team that finished 1 - 2 - 3 in 2003 was the best factory team ever, or was it?

  19. Started by nigel dabster,

Wonder why Japan is a no show for the tdn next week. Perhaps all the lads from europe who have spent thousands getting riders and minders there over the last few years can feel agrieved that they cant send 3(2)riders to europe? US of A have stepped up to the plate and moved up to the top route apparently?

  20. Started by neils on wheels,

I was watching the TrialGP video on Casales' bike and noticed a Dunlop sticker. It would appear the factory team are riding on Dunlops this year, which is a turn up for the books. Michelin must have had a monopoly in the world championships for a decade or more.
