I'll be going down to this on Sat 3rd from Edinburgh. I have an empty car if anybody from that area is looking to go, but doesn't have transport. I'll be staying overnight though. EDIT: Actually or Newcastle or anywhere on A1 from there down.

I don't suppose that anyone will divulge what the Appleyard sponsorship of the British Champs cost, just interested really. Where does the money go to though, and is it the most expensive for entries?

Our BC round starting off from the new Ice Factor complex. Sections completely different from last year. More traditional but don't let that fool you with some streams having numerous steps rangeing from 4 -15 in height. Trial more suitable for the present rules. Practise starts on Sat 4-6.Trial starts 9am the following morning. The B C still has to be decided so come along and see Steve Colley attempting to close the series as Champion or push current champion Graham Jarvis for an outright win on the day!Good spectating. Sect 9 has a cash prise of

Where's the best place to spectate at the Scott? Despite living reasonably close, I don't know the area very well and I've heard that the roads around the more easily accessible sections get very busy so it's worth making the effort to hoof it a bit. Can anyone recommend somewhere to park up that's within reasonable walking distance of at least a couple of sections (I'm assuming that non-competing bikes aren't allowed)? Would the paddock be a good place to start or would I just be adding to the congestion?

Any of you Lllanfyllin guys have any info on the trial being run this year. Just wondering as I haven't heard or read anything about it yet. I remember there were land issues with nesting birds last year and think it was mentioned the trial may run later in the year to avoid a similar problem

After losing our practice area to developers a few years ago, last year after a lot of hard work by a small group of members Milton Buzzards opened their new purpose built trials practice facility in Milton Keynes. As anyone from the surrounding area will know legal practice land is pretty much non existant in this part of the country, and lots of work has been done with tonnes of rocks and logs imported. The ground is being continually worked on to improve it further. If any potential members fancy checking out the new ground Milton Buzzard in association with the Milton Keynes Parks Trust are holding an open day on Saturday 24th March 11am to 2pm. Members will be there …

Re - Masters Class. We have not yet finalised the format. The T & E Committee meet on Nov 27th and will finalise dates/Championshi[ps etc - we usually then try to arrange a meeting with the Championship orgainisers and discuss things. I have to say the Masters class does at present look very doubtful. We had thought it was a good stepping stone - and sort of intermediate course for those who did not wish to tackle all the Championship sections - but wished to try some. Equally those Champ riders now getting older - or not wishing to tackle big steps etc because perhaps they do not ride/train/practice so often - would have a good class to drop down into. I actuall…

I'm back into trialing after a 23 year absence. I'm looking to enter a trial, how do you decide what to enter, ie. Wobbler, Novice, Beginner? How do you find out where Trials are? I found the ACU East Midland events list, but they only state the club, not the location...!?! I know TMX news has events in it, but I cannot find it in the newsagents and I could do with planning a few weekends well in advance. Thanks if you can help a late thirties kid ease back into the saddle... (damn, no saddles these days, must get up to speed! )

Would there be an interest in police checking bikes at a trial in an effort to recover stolen property, remember innocent purchasers could not only loose the bike but also the money paid for it. second problem is if the bike has never been recorded road-reg then it becomes harder to confirm identification. What are peoples thoughts, on this subject.

I see from provisional 2016 acu fixture list that all the Normandale rounds are in place but there seems only 1 round for the new aircooled series ? , I believe that there is no longer a pre 65 / twinshock class for the Normandale rounds so if this is the case whats gone wrong ? or am I wrong ? . Can anybody enlighten me ? .Thanks .
