Having returned to trials after a lay off of 15 years (gulp) I've not suprisingly lost track of local clubs. Can anyone point me in the direction of a club in south or west wales? Thanks.

OK, not sure if this is the correct forum, however I'm sure I will find that one out... The wife owns a GasGas 125 and I have a 250. I am considering riding the 125 in solo events, cos its a great little bike. That leaves me the potential to convert the 250 into an outfit so we can do a husband/wife effort in sidecar events. Having run a few google searched on sidecar trials I can't find any source of outfits and other info. I'm fully prepared to convert the 250 full-time into an outfit. Can anyone help me out? P.S The GasGas is an 07 250 pro. Thanks

from the ACU today, the chheky govt seem to have forgotten about motorsports in the forests/ woods and the acu are asking people to lobby for the motorsport voice to be heard. dont forget WE PAY to use the land the great majority of other users do not.. http://www.acu.org.uk/News/2011/04/ACTION-DOCUMENT-DEFRA-FORESTRY-REVIEW-PANEL/

Well, today was a wet one, yesterday had been a wet one pretty much for the whole of the South of England. Lebowski, Pete and I met up at Clackett Lane services and then went on to Betchworth Quarry. It is a great place with space for all types and levels of ability. Unfortunately I did not take my camera today, and of course typically with Jon and Pete there to keep pushing me and coach inbetween there were a few places I went up and into that I would not have considdered doing a week ago. Toward the end we just totally freestyled with Pete taking the lead and the two of us following...... Next up Jon took up the lead and made it more and more challenging until I man…

Just spotted a 500 Norton trials on eBay. I could be wrong (as usual!) but I seem to remember it being advertised some time ago (by a genuine owner) and then exactly the same ad running again a bit later (by a completely different seller). I therefore assumed the latter ad to be placed by a scumbag scammer and informed eBay accordingly. Now, here's the same ad running again. If anyone's tempted to bid, do please tread carefully and make sure you're entirely happy with the seller's (somewhat dubious, I reckon) authenticity. Apologies to all concerned if my suspicions are entirely unjustified.

New Honds now available 4RT factory £6799 4RT standard £5699 But the real bargain is the 125 CRF motocrosser with electric start at £1,999 Why then can't they do a useful 250 / 300 cc trials bike for around the £3000 mark?

I just wanted to update people. I was going to use the thread I originally started, but it has been closed (Im ot sure what this means or why, did I or someone on the thread say something that they shouldn't?). Anyway I am pleased to say it has all been sorted. The dealer that I used has been very helpful in sorting out the problems, and I am perfectly happy with the bike. Due to the service that I received, I have not been put off buying another bike of the same make, and I would be happy to use the same dealer again. Just thought you might all like to know, as it has certainly restored my faith a bit. Cheers Dave

Nice to see Shirty has lost none of his self-publicity skills with his latest piece about Gas Gas riders in the Scott!!! Do we really need telling about all the riders on Gas Gas bikes and how they got on? Thank God that John Lampkin, Malc Rathmell, Caroline Sandiford and Nigel Birkett don't get on the site telling us how well their riders have done every bl**dy week... there'd be no room for Mike Rapley, Jake Miller, et al to put their columns on the site and tales about 160 riders littering the site!! We all know how good or bad the bikes are and we all know how good the riders are. If John wants to give a level view, perhaps he'd also like to tell us how many GG's …

Just got back into the trials scene ...Been greenlaning and the odd UK rally like the Ryedale for the last 5 or 6 years ...Its the Ryedale that got me thinking are there any two day trials events set over a weekend with camping ...the Ryedale worked really well and it was great to meet up with some of the lads and lass's from all over the UK once a year and have a beer in the evening and talk ****e round the camp fire ... Just seen the threads for the twinshock/classic events any two day trials for the modern bikes ???
