Wasn't at the ssdt last year which apparently saw the change to 20 minutes(from 30) as the time we are allowed into parc ferme for bike maintenance etc. Can somebody confirm that this indeed is the new policy etc. Also, sounds like mandatory lunch stop is now 20 minutes as well? Please enlighten me! Thanks

Just out of interest really, where are we reckoning the route will run this year? There is no visit to Clunes moor this year and I have never ridden it when we haven't gone across it! I'm sure GIZZA5 will have an idea! I for one hope that they haven't got Trotters in first thing Monday like last year! I missed the nice run over Bradileig last year on the Monday and down into Kinlochleven. I would also think its nice for the spectators having the sections fairly close together. I quite like starting with Leanachen first thing Monday, it was odd not doing it last year till Wednesday! I wonder how its going to work having the Brae in on Monday aswell! Been going to the SSDT a few years now and still don't know the guy who interviews on the finish ramp or in charge of the Mic at the presentation............................ Now I may upset his family, but he needs to retire and talk about a subject and and maybe people he knows because it seems he knows Jack S**t about trials or the people who take part!!! So one of the highlights of the week was at the presentation when Dougie had enough of him took the microphone out of his hand and did his speech.............hell of a result

So after Albert Cabestany's visit last year will he return and try and win the centenary of the event ? will Dougie drag Raga over to ride ? Raga rode in 1999 or 2000 I beleive Fajardo has also ridden before and wouldnt it look good for Ossa to win the centenary at its first attempt in its new form Fuji would enjoy the moors but would Montesa relent and allow him to ride even if he wanted to ? Would make for a fascinating week, the brits could still win even if the above showed up based on last year. any body know if any of the world stars are intending to ride ?

Hi there! 🙂 I'm from Germany and will take part at the SSDT with a friend both as newbies. We got some information from another German rider who took part last year but it would be great to get some information from experienced SSDT riders. 😊 So first question at this point.. Is it possible to camp in a van at the paddock or close to the paddock? Thanks a lot in advance, mates! 🙂

why dont we see the top ten world riders ride the scotish six day. is it because its totally different riding skills. i think so i think dougie would win every time

Morning campers, Was fortunate enough to be roaming the hills near Callart falls just before sunset last night and found what - for obvious reasons - I will describe as a good quality expensive item related to trials or a trials rider. So if you rode, marshalled or spectated the 2014 SSDT and lost something the day the bikes went to callart falls and can describe to me in detail what you lost I will gladly (reluctantly) arrange to have it returned to you. If not I promise to make good use of it with a clear conscience.
