NATC Press Release 7-27-05 The NATC is excited about the formation of the USMTA and pledges to work closely to clarify roles with the AMA, to foster the best national championship trials series possible The press release looked good on paper, the website looks pretty but... What happened? No change on motorcycle cc size for our youth. Only eight rounds. On and on... You all have read the comments in the other threads. All that money spent to send these reps out to the NATC meeting and this is what we got in return? Something is seriously not working right. How much did this cost the NATC coffers? As a fan I feel I got jipped by our leaders again. As a minder/sponso…

Most of us don't get to meet the US members of TC, so how about putting some names to faces for us. Just looking through some of the photos after following links from Dan Browns recent post regarding USA rules. Couldn't help but think, that some of these people are likely to be the blokes we hear from all the time, but none of us would know from Adam. How about linking to photo's and naming the ones you know??? Photo Gallery Here Had to mention this one. I saw one bike with Bear Marshal on the front. Was that his name or his job? You wouldn't want to upset him by running over his flags eh? Not too many arguments on this section eh? The candidate for best looking…

Heared from quite a few people this week, the world round teams keep asking when are they going to run another world round at Donner pass, seems like it was very popular with them. At the James Lampkin trials school, someone asked James, which was the best US world round he had attended in the US, "Donner" Come on PIT'S by popular demand, they are wanting the mega big dry stuff.

It is with great regret that I announce the passing of Allen Guyot from KS. age 53. Allen was a personal friend of mine from the trials scene, and a great guy that held much history in both national and regional levels dating back to the 80's as best I figure, possibly beyond, yet far beyond my time in the trials game. A very skillfull rider whom often dominated events ! Such a great fellow rider and promotor of trials! Reports are that he passed in his sleep prior to the event in OK last weekend. He will be missed by many, my comments are but a pittance! Gods Speed Allen! I will miss you!

Question, To me, the name "youth Nationals" invokes the same thoughts as I have about "USA National Rounds" meaning that it is geared toward the best of the best youths congregating at Tennessee, to battle it out. So should I assume this is what they want & are promoting, or is it more of a "should be calling it" the Youth Invitational? Where yeah, I'd expect like anything else that people who think the kid is good enough to waste the family vacation time & dollars, to let Jr compete... But could just be "everyone" has go, we have fun, outing? Don't get me too wrong, I hear it is a great time, for the kids, especially the other activities, but I AM concerne…

Are there any events in the U.S. that hosts an event with the format of Loop time and section score? Is anyone interested in riding a format like that. Seems fun to me. Setting up 2.9 for speed on the loop and riding sections along the way. www.mita-trials.com is discussing holding an event similiar to this in the midwest. We have events at this location throughout the year and it also hosts a national harescramble. Any thoughts on who else does this type of an event and how it was received. Terry
