Classic Trials

Hi I’m thinking about building a trials project, I’ve various bits including a tiger cub engine and a c15 frame that looks like it’s been modified for trials. My first question is has anyone put a cub engine with a c15 frame and was it successful ? Or should I just source a tiger cub frame ?

Hello folks , I’m starting to build a Bantam based Whitton framed bike and was wondering what wheel rimes people are using/recomend ? Also can Reh forks be used ? Seem to have heard that Yorkshire classic events don’t allow them ? Thanks for the replys andy

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for clubs that hold trials suitable for British Bikes / Pre 65 in Wales or more specifically mid wales. I know of Aqueduct but thats more north wales. Just wondering if there are any or many. Any suggestions ? Cheers

Got a few bikes that run points ignition, and im fed up paying over the odds for variable quality condensers. Anyone using modern ceramic or polyester capacitors instead, do they work, and if so care to divulge what size you're using, or tried? And yes, i do know solid state ignition systems exist.

I recently bought a Montesa Cota 172 project which needs shocks. As it is doubtful I will ever use the bike for competition I don’t need anything too flash, but I don’t want rubbish either. Ideally I would like something that: 1) Works as well or better than the original shocks would have. 2) Something that will be good quality and last well. I had found a couple of choices and was hoping to get some feedback from somebody who has actually had experience with them. Hello I am a new member who has just obtained a garage full of Greeves parts from my father (who has decided, he's never going to get the bikes built!) He collected over many years and always bought stuff that hadn't been hacked about. There are the makings of at leasts three bikes (two Scottish trials and one Hawkstone Scrambler with banana forks). When I say makings, I mean 2 complete Villiers engines, plenty of parts to make a third, tanks, frame parts etc... Missing parts are things like exhausts, rims, mudguards and control gear... all stuff that should be available new. G'day folks from Brisbane Australia I'm riding in the Manx Classic in the IoM this September on a Cub and the thing I worry about most is getting a puncture and fixing it in the best and quickest way possible so I thought I would ask for some advice here. Besides carrying all the tyre levers and spare tube around for two days is there a kit you can recommend that will hold a low pressure tube around the sections and tracks of the IoM for two days (worst case scenario).
