Hi I'm in the process of finishing off building A C15 trials bike with later side points engine. Nearly finished need to get a new Carb as I haven't got one knocking around.Money is tight and not over keen on Amal concentric Carb and was wondering what modern Carbs people had tried and what experiences people had? Looking to run a 24mm Carb on an extended in let manifold. There seems to be a lot of pattern/copy Carbs on ebay very Cheap wonder if they are the usual China's quality or are they any good? Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi, There are some ignition kits available on the market. I would like to choose one of those for my BSA B40 Trials version, which is under construction. This will be the real thing with specially designed light oif frame, alloy hubs, lightened engine, etc. Has somebody any experiences which one PVL or Rex Caunt or Electrexworld or some other is a good choice ? Best regards Restomoto

Anyone have a suggestion for buying all the bits and pieces for making your own, very high quality, controll cables? I have a need to create my own cables for some custom bike projects but everyone I contact wants me to send them my old cables and they will build a new one from it. I have no old cables to send. In fact no cable exists for these bikes. Thats why I just want parts. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Aaron

Guys Can you help , did anyone other than Sammy Miller make a nickel [or chrome] plated frame for the 250 Bultaco Sherpa 198 series ? Cheers Greg can post a picture later , but just wondering as I know Mike Whitlock did make frames for the TY's & RL Suzukis , did he ever build a Bultaco frame or was this always Sammy's business.

  13. The Westmorland Motor Club are proud to be involved in the creation of the Nostalgia Bultaco Revival trial on 17th June, with Guest of Honour Yrjo Vesterinen. When Alan Lampkin heard he checked his own Bultaco, dormant in the shed for three decades, and with a gurgle of fresh fuel it fired up after just a few kicks - but all the bearings were dry and it had a naughty rattle, a mention to Peter Remington and out came the magic spanners and the bike was soon much more like her old self and ready to ride. That set the Lampkin family thinking so James will be riding the bike under a Lampkin banner, which anybody can join by calling 07761 073368 to donate 100% to Can…

  20. Recently purchased from the original owner, a 1975 Bultaco Sherpa 250. The bike was registered in Northern Ireland and I have brought it back to England. I have sorted out the registration as it only had the original hand written document issued in NI. So, a new V5C has been issued after DVLA sent an engineer to check it all out. The bike is exempt from road tax and MOT, and as no lights were fitted when new, it does not have a brake light. I realise I can only use this bike (on the street) during daylight/good visibility, but would anyone know if I have to fit a brake light. I have read elsewhere that if the brake light wasn't fitted from new then it is not needed.…
