Please can you keep your eyes and ears to the ground, some scumbag(s) have stolen from our garage the Montesa 4RT Repsol 2006 Trials bike , Frame number ending in "319". these folks knew what they were doing and managed to steal this with a D lock on the front wheel and a R1 Wheel attached to the sub frame. (managed to actually take the wheel out of the R1 in a very bike like professional way - so they are bike savvy! and neat!). Police are very much involved This was the evening of the 17th /early morning of the 18th near Tarporley Cheshire but it could be anywhere! its got some distinguishing marks, and the carbon exhaust cover is burnt etc for example plus other stuf…

sorry to say had my 340 stolen from the shed last night in the hebden bridge area, central pennines, between leeds and manchester. brief description 199b unrestored, bit rough but ok. aluminium tank with earlier decals, gold renthall bars with blue crossbrace. new dunlop803 front tyre, new irc tubless rear. both wheels having been rebuilt. weld repair to left hand downtube above the footrest bracket, not ground off, dellorto sticker on swing arm. please keep an eye out at practice ground etc. needless to say

With the issues of bike theft and trying to prevent it, what are your views and recommendations, when selling a bike. I did think about not allowing buyers to come to my house, rather meet them somewhere like outside the local Police station, but won't this raise there own suspicions? Anyway what do people recommend, how have you gone about previous bike sales?

Some thieving scumbags have done my van over tuesday taking all my makita tools and my beloved gasgas txt 280 VIN VTRGG2802F1140717 if anyone gets offered one can you please let me know, its a 2005 model

Joe's 2014 and 2013 Evo 125's were stolen last night from his Garage in Idle. Anybody hears anything get in touch with Joe or his Dad or contact the local Police.

Team Trials UK's Horne family were broken into last night. Dave Horne and family lost their bikes hours before setting off to the next round of the British Championship in Devon. Please keep a look out for - 2013 Sherco 300 No. VNBS529TRCA025809, Husqy junior motocross, KTM junior motocross, Oset 20" Lite, Oset 16R and an Oset 12". The trials bikes had Trials UK special stickers on but the thieves also took the standard Sherco plastics too so the Sherco may be restored to original before being sold. My 2002 Sherco was stolen from my locked garage last week. Frame number 2A002422 the bike is in really nice condition for its age and has a pair of new blue Renthals. Please look out for it. Police tell me that a gang is operating in the area targeting all types of off road bikes, probably for export. This is not kids looking for something to thrash around the local common. They arrested someone yesterday after a neighbour reported a suspicious van and a bloke pushing a blue motorbike, but didn't find any evidence. Hi i had 3 bikes stolen on June 14/15 Beta Rev 3,and 2 Gas Gas TXT 200's,The Beta Rev 3 has been spotted,at 3 different times for sale on Facebook,since Septemeber,October,and lastly last week also on Gumtree,Police was informed every time,and everytime,it's took them over 3 days to get back in touch,by the time the police got in touch,with the last seller,it had been sold on again.It was being sold from Rotherham,not 3 miles away.Chassis no for the Beta Rev 3 ZD389000020005751 Picture as was being sold on Facebook and Gumtree.

Hi guys, i bought a dtr125 as a project 3yrs ago. Had an 03plate reg with it but no logbook, but yamaha say my chassis is a 2000 model. Gave them my reg and it came up with a totally different chassis number...is there anyone who can do a trade hpi check on a chassis number for me??
