The forks on my fantic 200 are betors with double pinch bolts. They are too stiff, I’ve gone down to 5 wt oil, 200ml. stripped forks down & put new x2 seals in each leg. Are there any mods I can do to damper rod to make them softer? Cheers varlo

I'm trying to identify Models and years of some Fantic trials spares I have - One frame number is stamped 86406025, and the other is stamped 36301974. Both frames are monoshock, and painted white. I also have an engine with number FM363 212cc 003430. I would be grateful of any help on this matter.

Hi all I have a 79 Fantic 156cc and the front forks stay locked in place when under weight. They do return but never back to the start position sticking badly, any solutions? Also my front brake drum as a nasty 3/4 inch gouge in the centre of the drum about 1/4 inch deep again any solutions on a repair? Last one is the clutch lever pin showing signs of gearbox oil leaking past it, suggestions on a cure please.

Sorry, this is a bit elementary. How much oil does the gearbox take on a 200 rear kick?

I've got an '84 300 which currently wears Magicals springs and pre-load adjusters which has been ok for the past few years but could be better. I am curious if any of you have succeeded in making the 35mm Zokes perform closer to a modern day fork mainly in regard to plushness. I'm aware of the HFS product out there but this doesn't seem to address oil damping. Has anyone successfully grafted Racetech emulators into a Trials fork, specifically the Fantic, as they don't have any Trials bikes listed on their website application guide. http://www.racetech.com/page/title/Emulators

Hi, I’ve recently purchased fantic 200, the chain is being pulled to the outside of the drive sprocket ant rear sprocket is only 2mm from rear shock. Does anyone have the measurements for the rear wheel spacers as mine look like aftermarket. thank carl

Any info greatfully appreciated, just part rebuilding my first bike (fantic 303)to begin in the world of trials . The headset bearings are rough . Any suggestions on bearing size ? I read in another post the 240 uses 25x47x15. I dont suppose that would be the same on the 303? Also how tight do you tighten the spanner nut when refitting everything

Will fitting a larger airbox make much if any difference to my 240

Any suggestions as to what tyres will be a reasonable purchase for a 303 , only just starting in this hobby so trying to keep costs down , are part worns an option if I can find some. Advice appreciated

Hello every one, I’m new to trials and also to Fantic bikes. I recently picked up what I believe is a 1992 Fantic Kroo 250, I figured it would be an alright place to start in the world of trials. I was hoping some one could direct me to somewhere I could get a set of what I’m assuming are called rad shrouds? The plastic that bolts under the tank and covers the front of the frame. Or does anyone have one for sale! Also, has anyone had an issue with their cooling fan not working? And I realize this is a long shot, but does anyone have a graphics template that they’ve created for this bike? Thanks

Anyone know of a lighter clutch spring that will work in a 240? I wonder if Fantic 200 springs might work (diameter / length)? I have a short extender on my clutch arm, just wearing my hand out during a long trial... thanks

This popped up on craigslist, and was cheap enough for me to run and grab it. "403" fantic. Monoshock, disc front, drum rear. Engine cases say 247 cm3, so I'm guessing it's a 250. Lights work, seems to run well, but could use a reset...I'd like it to be more crisp off idle. What do you guys think?

Looking for some guidance. bike stopped running, no spark, so pulled the flywheel only to find loose wire and plastic broken. It appears to be a ducati stator. any ideas where I can get one ?

Hello all, ive just purchased my first trials bike. A ruff and ready 1994(I believe from pictures)Fantic K Roo. Having only rode reasonably new road bikes 600/1000cc my practical knowledge of bike mechanics is limited! I have a few questions im struggling with. Firstly the bike seems to lose all its water within about 45 mins of general riding(No big hills or long rides). Is this normal? If not what are the possible problems? Would replacing the water with coolant help? Also i have noticed the fan gets stuck pretty much as soon as you get going. Is this a common fault with this model? Could this be connected to the water problem? I've checked for any obstructions and t…

The title says it: I've just become the proud owner of a Fantic 200 in really nice condition. So inevitably I have to start with a few questions to the worthy gentlemen of this forum. What fuel/oil mix should I use? What type of oil? I know brand is a personal preference, but fully synthetic, semi synthetic, mineral? What oil, and how much in the gearbox? Is there anywhere I can get a manual? Preferably a download. No doubt there will be more but these answers would get me started. I'm hoping to do a first trial with it on the day after Boxing Day.
