I'm looking to set up a section for home pratice and wonder if anyone has any pictures of what they use? I have a good supply of pallets I can use and am trying different configurations. With the price of fuel home pratice may become the wave of the future.

Logs (for instance) that I wouldn't even think about on an uphill or flat strike terror into my heart when on a downhill. Any suggestions....aside from "stop being a girly-man"?

I have seen ideas for off the bike balance exercises. However, has anyone tried a non bike related exercise to improve timing? timing...as in a double blip with unload over an obstacle. It is one thing to know what needs to be done and another to time/ coordinate those activities together.

Just sharing something that has helped me incredibly much over roughly the past year. I'm just a happy user. Neil Price is an Australian Expert level rider, 18 times West Aust. champion, 2x Aust Champ, has competed in Europe and World rounds and all round nice fella. He has been coaching trials for decades and is a real thinker - always considering the detail that makes things work. A year or so ago Neil started a Facebook online coaching group which proved the concept had wings. Six months ago (+/-) he launched a dedicated online platform - quite similar to most social media platforms - Feed, Chat, Likes, Comments, Notifications, Hashtags etc. but also "groups"…

Is there such a thing? Im trying to train often, ie 4-5 times a week. Am I over doing it? Reason im asking is my body is taking strain....elbow issue, sore arms etc. Would I be better off doing less or should I push through untill the body adapts?

over the last few weeks i have developed a sore left hand, more the pinky and the adjasent finger. the pain often runs down the wrist I personaly think it could be a tendon problem but i am not sure, it seems to occur when doing a big step... i think it is to do with gripping the bars and pulling back hard tried many things to stop this;diffrent gloves, no gloves, new grips, extending legs more, the worst was stopping riding for two weeks(that was a grim last resort) went back on bike then after an hour or two it was back. does anyone else get this problem?, if so how did you sort it?

  10. Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. I think a sprain a few weeks back (landed heavily on the bars) may have caused a twinge in my wrist. I have no pain while riding, I generally feel the pain more when I'm off the bike and I flex my wrist but the pain is isolated only to the area marked in red. If I flex my wrist into extension (like in the second picture) I get this fizzel/twinge in that spot or when I'm opening a door. Is this tendinitis? My Doctor instantly without even looking at my hand said Carpal Tunnel I've had the pain for about 5 weeks now. I've made some adjustments to the bike to hopefully improvement the ergonomics to …

Anyone got pics of some good home garden or yard trials areas? I'm moving house, new place comes with a big lawn on a bit of a slope. Want to set it up for my novice riding and my kids 7 and under on their osets. Riding and more obstacles in place will keep the grass down too Cheers

Hi everyone I'm fairly new to trials biking. I've done motocross most of my life so far. I am having difficulty approaching highish obstacles from a stand still. Every time i try slipping the clutch and popping it i either smash into the obstacle or just don't it right. Have you guys got any tips on how to tackle this problem Thanks

  14. Hi All, I have been riding for many (40+) years, but I am totally new to the sport. Bought recently a Cota 315R and I am having a hard time finding a comfortable position for the levers, the clutch in particular. Holding the clutch with my index finger ends up pinching my fingers or hitting my knuckles. From various pictures and videos, I see setups that are dramatically different, WRT inclination and horizontal position on the handlebars. I know the answer is "whatever works best for me", but when learning I find easier to start from a neutral setup and progressively adjust from there. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm getting a tad bored practising on my own, so, any ideas as to what would make it slightly more appealing ? Bear in mind I've not long took up the sport so don't really want to be trying anything stupid on my own.

While out practicing what is the main way you's practice? Do you focus on certain areas each week like hitting big steps, hoping etc or do you just ride about and hit whatever takes your fancy. im wondering what way people find it best to increase your skill level to become a better rider. thanks
