Just got back on my bike yesterday after a long lay off (which did help my knees)and sure enough my knees are stiffening up 24 hours later. It feels like my knee-caps are too tight( no float ),pushing into my knee joints. I think this means I have an imbalance in my leg muscles (front-back-inside -outside?). I'm quite active for 40 and nothing else I do gives me 'jip' like riding a trials bike??? Anyhow..does anyone know of a few exercises or any training I could add to my current work out? Cheers, Wayne

Bike : Sherco 290 2009 Is there a certain way to set up your suspension , so as that hopping on the rear wheel is easier. When i watch videos of people hopping on the rear wheel their rear shock seems to bottom out when they land. As if they have a high damper setting. I had by bike on the stock settings which is 2 clicks out on the rear damper and 2 clicks out on the front forks damper then a flush red cap on the rebound. This setting seemed a bit springy for hopping plus the rear shock would not compress that much. Is there a happy median setting for the suspension, so as the bike is good for all round use? but will still let you hop? Thanks!

As I purchase my bike and while I am waiting a snow to get off I constantly think how should I start to learn! What should be my first steps? Of course first I have just to ride it on a flat terrain to get known with bike. Should I start on a grass first? Maybe I shoul start with small wheelies? I have in plane to make a small track, any body have any pics? Have so many questions I don't know with wich to start!

My best buddy (and riding buddy) are hours apart and seldom get to ride together, but we went out this weekend and he brought his camera. Riding with my son and best friend made for an incredible day!

Hello again , just need some basic questions answered for trials as I am aware of the answers for general dirt bikes 1/, I assume you select correct gear prior to taking of and rarely change while on the move 2/ while going slow in turns which brake is used or both and what proportion 3/ what angle should the bars be on , at the moment it's vertical Thanks that's it for now

A colleague at work has been asking me about trials because her 13 year-old son is interested in Moto-X and I said Trials would be better. Is there a site, preferably with videos, that would give them a feel for what trials is all about. Yes, I'll suggest they go to a trial, but some info up-front would help.
